I have been a regular customer for a few years now. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the had substantially improved the quality of their services over the last 6 months. In a conversation with one of the cleaners he mentioned to me that the company manager had taken into consideration all customers feedback and reviews and had dismissed all cleaners who had received repeat complaints and is regularly inspecting the jobs carried out by new and existing teams. read more

Awful awful awful! Used them for an End of Tenancy cleaning and the job done was terrible. Spent 6 hours re- cleaning the apartment after they came twice! They didn't do most thing on the checklist like cleaning the oven and dishwasher etc. Didnt clean inside the cupboards or under the beds. Found grease, dust and dirt everywhere. Their attitudes were horrible. Avoid at all costs!!! read more

Please, read and share how much you wish or at least save the name of the company so you don't end up hiring them by accident! I've booked a end of tenancy cleaning with Spring Clean London for the 26 of May. On the emails we exchange they also provided me with what would their service included! On that day I receive a couple and they start cleaning the house! I was home most of the time but to be honest, wasn't following them to see what they were doing, as I hired a professional cleaning company. You would think they know what they need to do! On the last hour of the cleaning I had to leave for an appointment! When I got back home, I notice multiple flaws on the work carried on! I emailed the company with pictures of some of what came as included on the list they provided me and or they were not cleaned at all or badly cleaned! We agree having a re-cleaning! Because obviously I was not gonna give the flat back on those conditions! But bare in mind that by this point, most of my things were out of the flat! And because I couldn't give it back like it was, I decided to stay to the re-cleaning would be done! To start, unless they only have 2 cleaners working in Spring Clean London company, what sense does it makes to send me the same cleaners that I complained about?? Doesn't make any sense! They are coming in a bad mood cause I complain about them! And why do I want the cleaners that didn't do the job properly on the first time! The couple arrived and literally start cleaning some of the things I had pointed out, attention not all but some of the points I said it wasn't done and 10min later they informed me that they were done...... I was shocked! And I knew there was nothing for me to say to them as obviously it was the company procedure! So the first time I get an incomplete cleaning even according to their list! The second time, they "finish" the job in 10min..... resuming, I never got an end of tenancy cleaning service, because every time they left my house, the flat was never cleaned for a move out! In result of all this and because they were late on arrival too, I had to book someone else to finish their job! And pay for it! I needed to open the door and check if the flat was now in conditions to be cleared to the landlady! And finally, after 2 visits of 2 people from Spring Clean London company and one person, one visit, the flat was finally clean to my standards! I emailed them asking for a refund! Because I never got the service that I hired them for! Their reply resuming was: "Unfortunately we don't offer any refund. The best we can offer for you is 15 % discount for all our services in the future, if you decide to give us another chance. Let me know if I can be of further assistance." Like if I would ever hire them again! "Usually when it comes to a re-clean service, we send the same cleaners, who carried out the initial cleaning in order for them to complete the missed areas. Regarding the re-clean, our condition is that no one (such as builders, painters or decorators) has occupied or used any rooms/items in the property after an end of tenancy cleaning service has been carried out and also the client or his/her representative must be present at all times during the re-clean. In your case, the cleaners informed us that you were still at the property and it was still occupied on the day of the re-clean. However, the cleaners carried out the service and they did their best to cover your requirements. We require you or a representative of yours to be present at the end of the clean in order to make sure that the cleaning has been carried out to a satisfactory standard. The cleaners explained that you were at the property during the cleaning." Yes, of course I was at the property!! So should I be renting a hotel or stay with friends when I will have to have a re-cleaning?? If I'm not giving the flat yet because it's not clean to do so, of course I'm staying on it! The cleaners already got to the flat annoyed! What I can understand them completely and I saw straight away and they confirm it in this email that is just the way they work! Utterly appalling company. I have used them a few times, both for my house and the house that I rent out. The last time they cleaned my house, they damaged my wooden kitchen counters quite badly. Although they didn't want to admit responsibility, in the end they reduced the fee by £40. Assuming this was a one off, and as they did a good job on the rest of the house, I booked them for a pre-tenancy clean, and once again, the kitchen counters are covered with scratches and gouges damage caused when the cleaned the parts of the oven interior. I pointed this out, only to be accused of lying on both occasions. Both the cleaner and the manager started shouting and accused me of causing the damage myself, they claimed that it was the same damage that it hadn't been repaired and that I was a liar and a fraud. The problem for them is that the first clean was done prior to a magazine photo shoot I sanded and refinished the counters myself to remove the damage before that shoot, and there are a large number of photographs to prove this. I am completely disgusted by their attitude; as I'm getting the counters refinished tomorrow, I was going to write it off and wasn't even planning on asking them to reduce their fee. However, after I was accused of being a liar, a scam artist and a thief (yes, they called me a thief), I asked them to leave my home. Avoid this company like the plague! I got them to come and clean my newish carpets I was told they would take 4-5 hours to dry, nope they were still sticky at 11pm that night! by the following morning the smell off my good carpets was horendous it semlt like sickness all over the top of my house, and the rug they supposedly cleaned was still dirty I called them up and complained and was met with the excuse oh it must be because your carpets are wool and sometimes when you wet wool they can smell like s**t!!! then if that wasnt bad enough, the female kept talking over me when I tried to say my carpets arent 100% wool, she left me hanging on the phone and spoke to the technician, she came back stating that the technician had left a note to say that he couldnt get urine out the carpets? URINE? why would there be urine on my carpets? unbelivable, it then dawned on me that the technician had seen my newly bought puppy in the hallway in her crate (so they decided to blame a puppy I had only picked up the previous night for the smell off their chemicals!) I explained that for one there was no urine on my bedroom carpets, and she then mentioned the puppy the technician had seen! I then further explained the puppy was picked up the night before and hadnt even been upstairs! at that she was very confrontational and argumentative, I am now having to wait on a manager coming to my house to inspect the carpets (even if there had been urine you couldnt see it as they are very dark charcoal coloured carpets) to find a solution, in the meantime the smell is knocking us all sick, the carpets all have a horrible sticky feel to them and my upstairs smells like an old peoples home:((( ewwwww avoid they are fast enough to take your cash but wont take anything to do with a complaint from you read more

Waste of time and money. Will never use them again. We left the cleaners for almost three hours, but when got back home saw the cobwebs were all around the windows, and the panels were full of dust. When I explained to them, they didn't seem to understand that these are dirts, and they are supposed to be cleaned!!, so they left without cleaning. Their 48 hours warranty is also a joke. They never came back to remedy the cleaning problems. Their attitude were also in no way professional. One didn't speak English, and the other used impolite words.
