CANADIANS - DO NOT ORDER FROM SPREADSHIRT!!! YOU WILL PAY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON TOP!! Everything might seem fine with this company, except for one huge LIE!!! Spreadshirt advertises and promotes itself as the cheapest CANADIAN company for making and customizing T-shirts. Their website even separates the American and Canadian versions. Well - DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!! They have nothing to do with Canada. You will be charged massive fees when your T-shirts cross the border. They produce and customize your shirts in LOS ANGELES, then ship them to Canada, and you will pay huge extra charges in customs and taxes just because your shirts were made in the USA!! I placed my order through their Canadian site: https://www.spreadshirt.ca Take a look -- it's .CA, not .COM. When entering the site, you're even asked to choose a region, and you click on the Canadian flag. Then you place your order and pay in CAD, paying for the T-shirts and shipping within Canada. NO ONE warns you that your shirts will be shipped from Los Angeles. NO ONE warns you that you'll be charged HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON TOP of your original payment!! And I am NOT exaggerating - I paid $241 EXTRA in addition to the amount I had already paid on their website! If they were truly a Canadian company, no one would be asking me to pay for customs and cross-border delivery! Spreadshirt are SCAMMERS and FRAUDSTERS who have NOTHING TO DO WITH CANADA!! read more

Ordered my first T-shirt from them around 2014-2015, had no issues, material was fine. After washing many times text didn't stick out. Ordered my 2nd one last week - same good quality, text was good enough (could've made it slightly bigger but that was my fault). read more

Ordered a sweatshirt for my son using Spreadshirt. The "estimated delivery date" was yesterday and nothing has arrived, as of yet.. When I called to get a status update, I found out that the shirt hasn't even been printed yet! Don't waste your time with this company. They are not serious. read more

Awful choice for orders to the UK. Massive hidden customs charges that you are expected to pay. No way to find out where your order is and long delays on the process of receiving if you do pay it (the method of payment comes via letter in the post!) Customer services unwilling to help. Avoid and order from UK to save hassle and extortionate costs. read more

This company has stolen my name and social security number to use as an evommerce seller. I have received a 1099 income tax return as if I've been earning with them for three years in a row. I have never had an exommerce account with Spreadshirt! they have assured me that they will rectify the problem and haven't to date. Spreadshirt, your company is dishonest and performing illegal transactions. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Report them to the IRS instead, as I have done. read more

I don't recommend spreadshirt at all! They are EXTREMELY hard to reach and when you do, half the time they tell you that they cannot help out with the SPOD app (WHICH IS THEIR APP!!) Also to ad I've had an issue with print quality and have been told that I'd be contacted less than 24hrs and we'll..... Still waiting! So at this point considering this is for my business, if it's this hard to reach a company that I'd supplying you with a product that is going out to your customers "the people that are paying your bills, and giving YOU money for a products that does not meet what I would call quality" then why would you continue to use them. Also to ad, spreadshirt thru Shopify is not user friendly. I kept having issues with the app. Would not recommend at all.... this image is the call log of how many times Ive tried to contact them and it goes straight to voice mail! read more

Stay away from spreadshirt! They abuse the artists! ! I am one of the artists on the... I am one of the artists on the spreadshirt that uploads my own designs for sale. Recently I have been subjected to what I see as an attack on my account and the artwork that I uploaded. The same artwork was accepted by their sister website spreadshirt USA and countless other POD websites! Spreadshirt legal has been rejecting my artwork for no reason whatsoever, even thou the same artwork was accepted just a couple of days ago. My artwork doesn't violate any copyrights or trademarks and its still get rejected! After enquiring about it, I was told by Emil that my art work was rejected because there's a "risk of confusion. I had to wait over 3 weeks to get my art checked out. One day the same artwork gets accepted and than 5 days later it gets rejected. That doesn't make any sense! read more

The quality of the shirt was great, but my issue came from customer service. I overnight shipping from Spreadshirt, though the shipment was delayed. I called UPS and they mentioned they were willing to refund me for the delay as I had to rebook a flight in order to receive the shirts for a trip. UPS mentioned the refund needed to be processed through the seller (Spreadshirt), though Spreadshirt was unwilling to process this for me despite the delay. When I called customer service they were very rude and unwilling to be helpful. I'll plan on going with a different provider next time. read more

Since I ordered 6 clothes, the seller shipped in 2 packages, but Spreadshirt put the full order on both packages. I have to pay the duty TWICE. costed me $80 to get my packages. Such a rookie mistake read more

I ordered a personalised tshirt for my daughter's 1st birthday. I spent a lot of time designing it and was extremely disappointed with what I received. On the template my design filled the whole front of the shirt. The item I received had my design printed really small and off centre on the front. I emailed them about the issue and they said they could reprint it how I wanted, with the large design... Like in the template. The replacement finally arrived... And was EXACTLY the same as the original one... I complained again but it was too late to do anything because my daughter's birthday was the next week, so I used what I had. After she wore it I put it in the wash (luckily I didn't wash it beforehand) and the print half came off!!! Absolutely awful quality. Don't waste your time and money. read more

I ordered several shirts through another company that were fulfilled by spread shirt. One of the designs started wearing away pretty quickly. I reached out about this issue and they offered my full store credit it to replace the item... Got a new one and I couldn't be happier read more

Ordered a dozen or so sweatshirts as company uniforms. One came defective (no logos at all). They only gave a partial reimbursement of the sweatshirt, since as mentionned above, you can expect to pay 50% of your order in shipping/duties. They argue the fees are not their responsibility; I counter with "i shouldnt pay shipping and duties on a defective product because you couldn't be bothered to realize you sent me a blank sweater? Poor quality control Hell thats akin to a chef sending out mashed potatoes ,forgetting to plate the steak, charging extra for a glass of water, then telling you "well - yeah, we have to charge you for the steak" read more

WOW - I am really sad that I am $45 into an order with this company, and can not get an email response or an answer to a customer service call. I bought 2 shirts as a gift, with PLENTY of time for them to arrive, and they still have not updated my order status - after 10 days. I will not get the shirts in time, I will not have a gift to give, and I am not happy! I would NEVER do business with them again. Steer clear!! read more

I use Spreadshirt to print my own designs. I've ordered several of my own items and have had hundreds of other orders from customers. I've only received two complaints about quality, both of them being small holes in the seams, and to my knowledge one of them was sent another of the same item free of charge and I don't believe the other customer pursued any fixes, so it must not have been that big of a hole. These items are affordable, which was a main concern when looking for a PTO service, and they also come in a wide range of sizes and quality (Spreadshirt does not manufacture their own garments, they only print, FYI!). I want people to be able to buy my stuff, and now they're able to. If I was looking for top of the line quality for every single item available, and to inspect each garment before it's sent, I wouldn't be using this service, but I'm very happy with it for my needs. Everything to my knowledge has been printed VERY fast, and sent out in a timely manner. Most people tell me they get their items earlier than expected! I wish the printing quality with a bit better but again, for what I was looking for, Spreadshirt is otherwise perfect for me. Please don't let the bad reviews fool you, people go online looking to complain when things aren't perfect, and that's okay! But there are far more people using this service who are satisfied and just never think to post a review. i purchased a hat, quite expensive comparing with other offers, They never send it even was a tracking number,I have got no evidences that was an delivery attempt. To be honest, I just recommend to avoid this web print shop. They just grabbed my money ,and when I asked for the refund I got no answer. The platform is as well quite reduced on options. Stay away from spreadshirt! I am a self employed artist that uploads my own designs to spreadshirt for sale. The problem with spreadshirt is the design rejection, one day they accept the design and than 7 days later they will reject it for BS reasons. Than they give you penalties for rejected designs and reduce your visibility to buyers. It's crazy how they treat us for measly 3 usd! Please take your business elsewhere! I'll change this design when things improve! read more

orders on 1/12 still waiting. first they tell me the order was returned for address and the address was correct. it happens. you would think since there was no error and they had to re-ship and it's going on a month they would expedite the order. WRONG!! I called in the 2nd to verify address. called today to check status the guy answered the phone is like oh we just shipped it out again yesterday. that w ohms be the 8th. I request to just cancel it's almost a month for a sweat shirt. Just one. he is like well the problem with refunding is it's shipped. So now I'm waiting another month to see if it gets here for me to pray he included the return label to get a refund. Two months in. DO NOT USE. If you are a content creator or small business use someone else. like they say, Get someone else to do it!!! read more

I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from this company!! I honestly thought I was ordering from a place that supports Bailey Sarian but ordered it regardless cause I love it. I Ordered it package on the 21st it's the 30th and USPS is saying they never received the item and the shipping label has been stuck in in Nevada since the 24th(3 DAYS after I ordered it??) they're refusing to give me a refund or consider the item lost until the 2nd!? Where then I can either wait another 10 days for them to ship it or who knows how long for them to refund my money!? If the package was never sent what am I waiting for waiting for customer service was basically just silent the whole time and offered not much help at all!! For $60 and way too long for shipping something just isn't right! Just wait until Bailey's line comes out! I emailed them and it comes out this fall! read more

I would not recommend working here seasonally, a lot of lack of management. They said the seasonal position would end at the end of December only to end almost a month before the end date. They hired too many seasonal employees, but didn't know where to put them. They simply tell you that it will be your last week, while also expecting you to have an open schedule in case they change their mind. read more

First order went missing, replacement came quickly. Great quality! My first order went missing in transit, and after a few emails, Spreadshirt sent a new order that arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The shirts are great quality and the design was added perfectly. Happy ending! read more

So far they seem good. I just did my first product they did a good job publishing it. I ordered over $300 of shirts for my nephews as a gift for the first week of school. It was my first order from these guys. All the shirts arrived and one came too small. When I contacted the Spreadshirt team on the phone they refused to send me a replacement free of change (they wanted a small fee before they would send me the correct size) which I capitulated to only because my nephew wanted the shirt, however we came to an inpass when they also refused to send the replacement item with a note for Customs or with FedEx that indicated it was a replacement item. This is standard operating procedure, so I wouldn't be forced to pay duties for a second time for the same item. To all others; If you are an international buyer avoid this company, their website, and the products. read more

Shirts were neat but quality was pretty meh. What really pissed me off though was that I received a FedEx bill for customs charges after delivery. From a canadian company. Wtf? The charges were almost the same cost as the tshirt- and that was on top of shipping. Unacceptable. read more

I spent over $100 on 4 t-shirts at Christmas. Within 6 washings, the lettering was coming off. I contacted the company and was very pleased when they offered to replace. Fast forward 6 more washings and we have the same issue. All the shirts are washed in cold water, without fabric softener, and hung to dry. I again contacted the company asking for a refund as the quality of their items was extremely poor. I was offered a store credit to which I declined. I have absolutely no confidence in this company and will suck up my loss. I should have read the reviews more closely. read more

I'm reading the reviews and I can't believe so many people had problems with Spreadshirt. I've ordered shirts 4 times for my company and personal and never had a problem. Shirts are printed within 2-5 days and shipped as soon as they are completed. The quality of the shirts were compatible to the price I paid for them. Premium shirts have a premium feel and price whereas the regular tees have a more cheap feel to it. You can't possibly be mad that you got a shirt for $2.90 and it feels kinda cheap. If you want quality, pay the price. They also support designers, you can literally make a design and put it for sale and they will pay you a percentage if someone buys your design. I don't know about customer service because I never had a problem that I had to contact them. Every order I've ever place has been a smooth transaction and I will continue to purchase and support them. A while back I ordered shirts from CustomInk and not only did they take forever to arrive, they were also the cheapest, hardest material you can think of, and it was all stained. Paid about 2x as much for the shirts. QUALITY HAS A PRICE, PEOPLE. DON'T BE CHEAP. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I used to love this company. I designed incredible products that everyone was happy with. Earlier this month they changed their entire platform and EVERY SINGLE ONE of my designs was either deleted or completely altered. There is no way to go back to what I had before or even find the previously designed items. I must now delete my entire store and start over. This is a huge blow to my business. I will be looking elsewhere. read more

I recently purchased 3 t-shirts from Spreadshirt and I used thier sizing chart to determine the size I needed, so I proceeded to order them. Upon receipt of them they were a size too small. I have made several email attempts to inquire about a return/exchange, but no response. I can say that the quality of the shirts a decent and the ordering process with easy, but again no excuse for no response to my request. John D. read more

Miserable website for designers. For everything you try to upload they have a ridiculous arbitrary selection process. One day your design might be rejected and another it might be accepted. They waste your time by rejecting designs which are perfectly fine and then give you a 'lost in space' status for having more than 10% of your uploads rejected by their own flawed selection process. Cute shirt designs! Sadly, they are made of super-cheap material, AND the shirt I ordered shrank terribly in the wash. I had ordered a size bigger than I usually wear, just to be sure, and the shirt still turned out too small for me to wear. Gonna have to give it away. Not happy at all about the money I wasted here. read more

The printing quality was not good. It really started to fade after a couple of washes and I use a gentle cycle. I've also never experienced this with any of shirts I've had made - even ones I ironed on myself. I wouldn't use them again. read more

I ordered a t-shirt on 10th December and was told that my parcel would be delivered by 16th December if I paid express postage. This was intended as a Christmas present so I chose this option, despite the exorbitant fee of $50 on top of t-shirt which was approx $45 - which also seemed extravagant. I was prepared to give it a go as I wanted a custom design and I did find the design process easy, although part of the expense is paying for design elements which are free on other sites. I got an email within hours saying my shirt was printed and off to be shipped. I felt hopeful. Several days passed. It was the 14th, a Friday, and no updates from Fedex the shipping company. The 16th was a Sunday so I thought I'll see if it arrives early next week. Nothing. Used the tracking number again. Still no information on the Fedex website. No indication of anything happening at all. I emailed Fedex 2 days ago - have heard nothing. I tried calling Spreadshirt using numbers listed on their own website. The only number that had a voicemail message was the UK. The Australian number was disconnected, as was the American number. I emailed Spreadshirt and left a negative review on another review site. Quickly received a response saying that I was being offered a full refund if I chose to cancel my order, or they would reprint and reship my order but could not guarantee a delivery before Christmas as now it's the 19th. Spreadshirt did not explain what had gone wrong with the shipping, nor did they seem to have any idea where my t-shirt was! They just said it is late, it won't arrive before Christmas and would I like to cancel or try again. They did not explain why their contact numbers in several countries were disconnected. Instead they said "I am sorry you are having trouble reaching us via the phone." Now I have read many reviews saying that people cannot get through on their numbers. Clearly there is an issue that they must be aware of...makes them seem dodgy, like they are trying to appear more legitimate than they are. I thought they must have an office in Australia as i was using an Australian website and they have a Melbourne phone number listed on main site - but now I hear they are German. If their Australian and American offices are shut down they need to remove these details from their website immediately. I use another German company to ship canvas prints to Australia. They arrive without fail within the 2 week window, usually earlier. And they dont charge an arm and a leg to do it. There is no extra charge for customs as Spreadshirt indicates their may be. So not sure why this company is having such troubles shipping, nor why the need for extra fees. As a customer I feel adequately resolved if the refund comes through quickly. I think they should acknowledge that their phones are disconnected and remove them immediately. I think if they were truly interested in their customers they would have offered me a free t-shirt with no shipping! It's Christmas. They messed up. Do the right thing. Go the extra mile. I won't be a customer any longer. Now I have to go shopping again and find a present for my nephew! read more

I don't think I could have had a worse experience. And I am still having a terrible experience as I still don't have my order. I placed an order for Aprons, and went with this company because they were going to arrive on time for our grand opening. Not only have we still not received them, weeks after they were supposed to arrive - but I have had to call every single day this week to the WORST customer service to get an answer as to where my items are and an estimate on when they are coming. I still don't have the shipment or an answer as to when they are arriving. Our Baristas have no Aprons. I called today - first call - I am still on hold as I'm writing this review. Someone picked up and said let me check on this for you and I've been on hold for 40 minutes and counting. In the meantime, I called again on another phone. French woman picked up. I feel demoralized after speaking to her. Rude is an understatement. Not only did she not give me an estimate as to when they were arriving, but she didn't allow me to speak, talked over me - snapped at me and attempted to hang up on me several times by snipping "BYE" and I had to say, "sorry, I am not finished". I am still shocked by her attitude. Shookith. I asked if they were going to do anything to make up for it - give us a partial refund - said said no. So I'm broke from paying for custom Aprons, our Baristas don't have their uniforms, and I don't even know if they will ever come. Thank you so much, Spreadshirt! Sike. I am going to be traumatized for awhile. Didn't think this poor of customer service even existed - and the lack of care for customers is appauling. read more

Habe mir ein Poloshirt bestellt, fällt viel zu klein aus. Die Passform allgemein ist auch nicht gut. Der Druck und die Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten finde ich sehr gut, aber es nützt alles nichts wenn es nicht passt. Schade. read more

obwohl die T-Shirts recht gut in der Qualität sind find ich die Preise viel zu hoch. Die Webseite ist vorbildlich. Das Onlinetool finde ich etwas zu schwerfällig und zu klein. Immerhin 3 Sterne sind es auf alle Fälle. read more
