They are always friendly and easy to get in for an appointment. Although they are extremely busy.

She chose a sitter that Had an elderly dog as well and it made me feel so much more comfortable. We had a meet and greet to make sure my dog was comfortable and he was friendly with other dogs. They got along great! So when it was time for our vacation Prince enjoyed his stay and met new friends. He was comfortable in a home with someone who gave him love and outside time and extra snuggles. I loved that Tara sent me photos and videos of Prince playing while on vacation. She sent me updates everyday and let me know that he made a BFF. She gave him his allergy medicine every morning and he was happy and healthy when we got him back. I will be using them again! This was our first time ever leaving our 4 dogs so to say I was nervous was an understatement. The Pocono Pet Nanny's Bed and Biscuit is probably one of the nicest and cleanest places I have ever seen. There are several themed rooms along with beds, TVs and music playing. There is a fenced in area that the dogs can go out to run and do their "business" which worked out well for my dogs since they are used to a fenced backyard. The check in process was great. Jan is very organized and takes lots of notes on each dog. She allowed me to bring in our dogs' bedding, crates and bowls which was fantastic because our dogs were so used to their own things. I will admit I was crying when I left the dogs  but knew I made the BEST decision leaving them with her. Throughout my trip I received texts and pictures updating me on each of my dogs. Never once did I question if my dogs were okay: I knew they were in the best of hands!  Thanks to Jan and her staff, my family and I were able to enjoy our first trip ever. I had such peace of mind! Prior to booking our dogs' stay, Jan was great at communicating with us and never hesitated to answer my (many, many) questions. I was a bit nervous because our one dog is very food aggressive. Jan had no problem taking him in and even fed him in a separate area. She and her staff are "pet people" and truly have love and compassion for animals. Our family never traveled because we did not want to leave our dogs, but I have a feeling our visit with the Pocono Pet Nanny might change things for us. We highly recommend Jan (Pocono Pet Nanny) and will use her again in the future. Thank you Jan and your amazing staff for a job well done!! We can't thank you enough!! Thank you! She loved to tear up newspapers, tissues and all sorts of paper. She ate headphones and remotes. She listened when she wanted to and turned everything into a keep agame. She is still the happy loving pup she always was but now she has boundaries. She doesn't pull me on walks, she doesn't jump up like she used to and will stop when given a command. She has yet to grab a remote, we are still careful with them especially when we aren't in the room. The transformation it incredible! Carrie, Samantha and the whole Doghouse gang are highly recommended! Thank you for laying a good foundation for us to follow! We are happy and proud to be part of the Doghouse family!
