Bark Busters Pinellas County - Stop separation anxiety & destructive behavior

Bark Busters Pinellas County

Between the puppy teething bites, sled dog walks, terrorizing the mailman, and little dog ego, we knew we needed help. We called Sharon with BarkBusters, and she is an absolute game changer. At home training, No treats, No Tricks needed. Our furbaby is 6lbs of fierceness, and like his dad he wants to establish dominance in everything he does, including over our 2 cats and the entire household. In just one visit, Sharon taught us to think like a dog and how to lead the pack. Learning how to actually say NO in a language dogs understand has been groundbreaking for us. We've had dogs before, but we learned more in one session with Sharon than we did in a lifetime on our own. The future is so bright for our puppy Oliver, and we have Sharon and Barkbusters to thank for that!

We already had a well-behaved, but sensitive black lab mix. Sharon spent hours with us talking about canine psychology and working on attentiveness training. We worked with the dogs on the first visit, both at home, walking around the neighborhood, and at unfamiliar locations so we encountered another dog. The first day of training made an IMMEDIATE, huge difference; we were shocked and thrilled. The black lab was incorporated into the training too. She talked plainly with us and was realistic about interventions we would and would not be able to make for the dogs. She was awesome, we've seen lasting effects with our Staffie, and we plan on having our second session soon to follow up on our homework. Thanks Bark Busters!

We go on vacation every Memorial Day weekend but this year was different, as we had recently adopted a 4 year old Lab mix with anxiety issues around strangers. Sean had been a great asset to me in the three months leading up to vacation with a lot of great knowledge and advice to help our new dog adapt, so of course we contacted him about watching them for the long weekend (we also have an 11 year old Jack Russell who is fine with people and other dogs). We thought it would be best to keep them at our home together and have Sean come over multiple times a day for feedings walks and playtime. His rates were beyond reasonable and I trusted him with our new dog and her special requirements. He came to our home to meet the dogs the week before and asked for a basic routine that we follow and any behavioral and training issues we were working on so he could stick with them. He sent us updates daily as well as some pictures of the dogs hanging out and playing with him. And, though she doesn't normally do this, she even let him put his hand on her by the third day which surprised us greatly. We have another vacation scheduled in September and will 100% be having Sean watch our dogs. Now that his boarding rooms are fully operational we also feel comfortable having that as an option and having the dogs together at his home (it is important to mention that his boarding house is run out of his own residential home. This, to me, ensures that the facilities are clean and we'll kept and that he is always very close by in the event of an emergency or any other issue. It is absolutely a giant slice of peace of mind.) Even with the Lab's anxiety issues I trust him to help her and work with her and keep her happy and healthy in a new environment while we are away.

Eagerly, as in, she practically knocks the door down. The Jtails crew are kind, friendly and caring and it's clear Daisy loves them as much as they love her. She is a high energy gal and they offer a safe, stimulating and fun environment so I bring home an exhausted dog at the end of the day -- exactly what I am looking for. They offer full and half day sessions as well as boarding which makes it incredibly convenient for my schedule. They also offer add on services like baths, nail trims; puzzles, training reinforcement, and more. I highly recommend Jtails for any dog parent on the hunt for exceptional care.

Really impressed and happy with this place! My dog has been to 4 different daycares (we've moved…read morearound) and this one is the most organized by far. The level of professionalism is unlike anything I've experienced in the past. They have an online client portal which is an absolute breeze to navigate. You can do anything & everything in the portal it's seriously amazing. Not only do they have live webcams where you can watch your dog play in different rooms (which I found hilariously entertaining) but they also include daily "report cards" for your dog each day with a bunch of pictures of them playing, a few adjectives that described them that day, and their "friends" they played with the most...how freaking cute is that?! Additionally, the staff has been really nice and on top of their shit. The first time I dropped my dog off they told me they would let me know how she was doing and sure enough a few hours later I got a text with an update and a photo of her playing. She has a heart condition so I always get a little nervous leaving her somewhere new and the fact that they followed up like that meant everything. So grateful to have found this place!
