I was trying to describe & suggest dishes but my aunt was mainly concerned about milder spiced dishes !! not being adventurous souls, they ordered the Chicken noodles & chicken biryani !! I ordered a tasty cauliflower dish ... 2 thumbs up ! they said their dishes were tasty, the noodles were mild but the biryani had a little heat, but not bad, very tasty & lots of chicken !! Pretty much selfserve, you order & pay @ the front counter, then pick up your food when it's ready - not the best set-up if you are not ambulatory, but I was there to assist ! We also got chai tea, unsweetened but I asked for sugar - it's in a salt shaker ! There is not much decor or style - it's more like "fast food" & the price & quantity are a good value ! But they actually want to go back to try more dishes ! The owner also owns the H Salt Esq. Fish & Chips place next door so you'll see her going back & forth I like that they offer vegan versions & vegetarian dishes !!! so I have many choices there !!

I was craving Indian food, but not a heavy meal before work. I love Indian street food and found this via yelp. It's a small little place with like 4 table and two Aunties running the place. I ordered idly vada platter and the mysore masala dosa. It came with sambar and coconut chutney. The vada was great, but the idly seemed like it was microwaved which causes it to become rubbery and hard. However the dosa was out of this world. I get it Indian spicy because if they perceived you as Gori they will make their spicy mild. It was enough food to fill me up and I had 1/2 the dosa to take with me. Will be back to try other items on their menu. Definitely will be back or at least order to go before between jobs.

The food is superb as well. They specialize in Indian street food, which seems to have some Latin flavor elements. The load samosas are unreal. They also have traditional pub food too (e.g. wings, fries, tenders) and the fried catfish is some of the best fish and chips I've had. The catfish is soft, flaky, and doesn't have a hint of earthy flavor a lot of catfish has. The ambiance is super cool as well. It feels very comfortable and inviting inside. The decor seems to be constantly updating and improving. They also have a sitting area away from the bar, so if you have kids you can bring them to eat while enjoying one of their handcrafted cocktails. That being said, what makes this place is the service. Kay, the owner, makes sure to greet everyone and makes you feel like family. There's always a positive vibe inside and I've yet to have any semblance of a bad time there. Can't say enough good things about this place. Do yourself a favor and check them out!!

We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, wings, and samosas, along with chicken momos. We were told they were out of the momos. That was fine, but it took a whole hour to receive our food. Once most of the food was served, we asked about the samosas. Then, we were told at the last minute that they were out of those as well. It would have been helpful to know sooner so we could have ordered something else. Our water was also never refilled during the meal. You can even see the two empty cups in one of the pictures. I could barely even take them because I was so ready to dig in! The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were especially good, although we thought some pita bread on the side would have been a nice addition. Someone who I think was the owner brought my child some candy as a courtesy, which was a thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. Overall, I think Copper Mug is better suited for date night or hanging out with friends instead of a family meal. However, we do plan to order takeout in the future.

Welp, I came in again finally. Last time I was in here was 2023 (I left up my last review so you…read morecould see I was a fan of this place). Had a lot of beers left over from before Covid so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I've been trying to come back here for the last 4 weeks. Came by 4 times. The first three times it was closed - during open hours. The first time they had a sign "family emergency" which is understandable. The last two times I came by during open hours and they were just closed. Not acceptable. I'm guessing other people who kept coming by during open hours only to find them close will not come back again. Today, October 31, 2025 was going to be the last time - if they were closed again I would not come back. They were open. I went in and looked at the beers. There's a lot of really dirty bottles in the fridge. I pulled a Knee Deep out and looked at the date. It said 2015. I thought maybe it was so dirty I wasn't reading it right. Pulled out another one. 2015. Pulled out some other bottles. More from 2015 and 2016. We're in 2025. This is not a typo or a gag. He's selling beers from 2015. And he's selling this at full price. 7 bucks a pop. IPAs have a shelf life. Imagine getting a bottle of Knee Deep Citra home that you paid 7 bucks for and getting the tasteless, flat, bad water you're going to have with a ten year old bottle of beer. Kept looking. Found one 4 pack that was from May of this year - that was it. That was the only one I could find of the beers I looked at that was semi-recent. Some of the stuff had no date - knowing they sell decade old beer I would not buy any of it. Then I found one four pack that was from 2014. 2014. Eleven years ago. This is not a typo. He sells beer from 2014 in 2025 as fresh, full priced beer. IPAs. Never again. This is a place called "BOTTLES" who's main deal is his craft beer. And he's selling decade old beer at full price (shouldn't be selling decade old beer at any price). I used to be a big fan of this place - now I just want to warn people - if you go here for beer - look at the dates. And if you get a chance, sort the reviews here on yelp for Bottles by stars and look at the other one star reviews. All the one star reviews are the same as mine - complaining about old beer. But these are all from 2019 and before. So this guy was doing it back then - and the beers I'm seeing here today are probably the same beers these people back in 2019, 2018, 2017 were complaining about - still in the freezer. I give Bevmo crap for selling year old beer. Imagine selling 11 year old beer at full price. Unethical and incredibly bad business. Never again.
