She visited my home (on the same day) to walk the rooms and get a true understanding of the scope of work and my specific desires. Our home was tidy, but our previous (nationally franchised) maid service seemed to be getting less thorough with each session so the deep clean gave us peace of mind and a great reset. They cleaned my house beautifully but apparently as a paying customer Matt has a problem with customers asking clarifying questions. Upon arrival this morning I informed Lisa that I did not want her to use water on my hardwood floors but just use Bona directly on the hardwood. Well as it turns out she said she forgot And immediately offered to dry the floor with their towels. It was totally fine and I was in no way mad that she forgot. It happens. Then when she asked me to check upstairs to make sure it was good I only noticed that the tv and stand were still dusty that they must have forgotten it. She or her partner did it no big deal. They were still cleaning downstairs so it would take nothing to just wipe what they missed because after all I'm paying for a service. When they asked me to do walk through of downstairs I said all looked well. I was in a meeting for work but looked quickly. So when I made my appointment for December I told the owner that they did a great job and that I was very pleased but noticed this time they didn't vacuum my couch like they did the first time when they cleaned in October. He said that it is only done during a deep clean of that room. I said ok thanks. No problem but thought that was standard. Apparently he did not like my reply because Then he sent me a text about 20 min later and said that the ladies told him that I was not pleased with how they cleaned and that since I was so unhappy that they would be declining any future services. I was floored. I then personally called and told him that if I were so unhappy I would have told him that I was happy and that I would not have tipped which I tipped very well. I told him to mail my check back to me and that I would be taking the extra good tip out and only paying for the service that was done. He says that they are the best in the business but in order to be the best you must exceed expectations in all areas and customer service is not something he excels at. In addition he believed his team who has clearly lied to him and never asked me the customer if I was pleased or not and never wanted to hear my side. Lisa came in running her mouth telling me that the ladies who cleaned for me in October no longer are with the company and that people are asking her all the time when will she go back to coordinating because they don't like how Matt does it. I as a customer should not be told any of this. It's highly unprofessional and she has told me many times they are short staffed. Now I can see why if he treats his employees like he did me which was unfair and unjust. Truly unbelievable. You will be better off hiring a company that is well rounded and can take feedback and doesn't mind questions from paying customers.
