(Hey "Bob D"; maybe they didn't want to stop and chat because they're paid to fix bikes, not chat about bikes for 4 hours!!) I've had my bike repaired here a few times, and the staff are always very helpful. They said my bike repair would cost £80, which I was happy to pay (the bike was a wreck lol) but then in the end it only cost me like £50 (and the parts they used were of a reasonable quality). They didn't use expensive 'brand' parts either, which was nice because I hate the whole concept of buying branded stuff anyway (like seriuously, people buy shoes that cost £2.75 for the materials, but they're happy to buy that same pair of trainers for £150 just 'cos it says ADDIDAS on it and has 3 stripes...) Anyway, I'm rambling now so I'll wrap this up; Don't take my word for it, or Bob's word; just try them out and see how you find the experience, or don't... doesn't really make any difference to me :D

Staff friendly and knowledgeable, standby their workmanship. I have never had a problem.

Not many of the casual shoes are really to be my taste, being more the kind of thing a slightly unfashionable dad trying to look cool might wear. However, they have got a really good selection of smart shoes, that make it a good option if that's what you're looking for and going to Clark's makes you feel a bit too much like you're eight years old and shopping with your mum again. The two staff in Sole did something annoying in that the shop was so quiet they kind of just followed and watched me and my girlfriend as we browsed the shoes. It was slightly unsettling.

They sell shoes and boots too for both men and women, they were one of the first UK suppliers of the infamous UGG boots and still stock them today. As well as shoes they sell bags in different shapes and sizes from funky little handbags to mens rucksacks and large holdalls. I love this shop and would recommend it over other high street stores any day!

They also sell umbrellas, handbags and shoes accessories such as shoe horns and polish. The staff are always friendly and say hello when you walk through the door. They are always happy to help too and don't mind if you ask them to try on lots of different shoes and size. Another good thing about faith is that they do go up to a size 9 and have a wide leg range in their boots. They aren't the cheapest shoe shop around but the shoes they do sell are top quality and in my honest opinion worth the extra money. If you are on a budget its worthwhile looking out for the sales at Christmas, summer and spring time as many great bargains can be had.

Choosing tactfully to go on a Sunday at opening time, it was a wise move as I was in and out of the Traff in less than two hours. It was THE perfect visit and Banana Republic had a bit part to play in that. The store is decent sized, light and airy (mens is on the ground floor with womens upstairs - which was refreshing as we usually have to trek upstairs, ladies!). They're owned by Gap Inc but it has a more upscale image. The clothes are all nicely displayed, all the sizes are there and the friendly staff on-hand to help. One of them kindly offered to pop the few things I'd picked to try in one of the fitting rooms whilst I perused the rest of the shop (a sales ploy most likely, but it was still appreciated). I felt like I was in one of those expensive shops you see celebs in on Rodeo Drive, with a personal shopper and staff who know what you want before you say anything. Great clothes and a great store, you made a reluctant shopper happy.

As well as all the big labels, they stock exclusives from Fred Perry, Puma, Nike and Adidas Originals. When I popped in yesterday, they also had a full set of the new Adidas collaborations with Jeremy Scott, Redman, Kazukit and Nizza Colabs. When I mentioned liking the former, the guy smiled and said they were out of my size already and were expecting the rest to fly out by the rest of the weekend. The lesson?
