    Well, I'm going to start this review by saying that I'll probably never shop at Sportive, at least online anyway. Not too long ago, I was perusing google as i often do looking for a pair of sneakers, Adidas to be exact that were red, black and green. I checked a number of stores online and i couldn't find any in a size 12. However, if you surf the internet long enough, you'll usually find some gold at the end of the rainbow; or so, I thought. Well, I happened across the Sportive online store and I saw that they had the sneakers and the size (12), I was looking for at the time. The sneakers themselves, sold for about 100 dollars and with shipping and handling, about 110 dollars. It was a reasonable purchase. However, little did I know that the sneakers ran a size small. Once I realized, I needed a bigger size, I immediately contacted Sportive, requesting an exchange in the process. Reading their exchange policy, I knew I had to pay for shipping the returned item. It sounds like it would be an easy process but it wasn't. I emailed, Rod, the contact person to initiate the exchange but I received no response for the next thee to four business days. I wound up calling directly to a number of Sportive stores to get an actual number but when I called the number I received no response. So, I thought that I had dialed a wrong number and I attempted to dial the number again when, all of a sudden, a text appeared. It was from Rod himself and it read"How can I help you?" I thought it was quite odd that I received a text when called to speak to someone in person. Well, texted "Rod" my issue and he states that I needed an RMA to initiate the return. Rod assured me that an email initiating the RMA was on its way. Hmmm.....three days later, still no email with an RMA. I attempted to call and reach out to "Rod" again but he did not answer the phone. Once again, I received a text stating that my return was being processed for a size 13 and they were checking the stores to complete the exchange. However, I did not receive a time frame. Nevertheless, I waited an additional 3 days for some information regarding this exchange before I called at least two of the three stores before I talked to someone who seemed to beithwr an owner or manager who was rather helpful and kept me on a "three way call" while he investigated my return and subsequent exchange. It was only after calling multiple stores and corralling a manager type-person before I was able to assurance I needed. Once,I finally got confirmation that the order for the exchange was completed; I still had to pay the shipping price for the excahnge!!! Wow!!! I thought that I would have at least gotten free shipping but no. So, a pair of sneakers that I should have paid 110 dollars max, wound up costing me close to $130. Therefore, my first time experience with SPORTIVE would be a very weak 1!!! I would give the overall customer service experience a half a .5. I would have given SPORTIVE a Zero if it wasn't for the manager/ owner that assiated with the return. But, should it had gotten to that point??? The answer is a resounding NO!!!

    Good shoe selection and helpful sales staff. It's worth finding in the mall. My feet are feeling great.

However, I feel compelled to share my recent experience at the Marshalls located at 255 E Flagler Street, as I felt mistreated, frustrated, and powerless. I purchased a seasonal candle for $7.99, and shortly after leaving the store, it slipped from my hand and fell to the floor. Since I was still very close by, I returned to the store hoping to either replace the broken candle or receive credit toward another. To my surprise, both the cashier and the floor manager refused to assist me in resolving the situation. They did not offer to replace the candle with a similar one or provide any form of credit. I was disappointed by their lack of professionalism and willingness to help, especially as a frequent customer who had spent nearly $100 in the store just the day before. I believe it's important for businesses to recognize that customer service matters, and I hope that this feedback encourages a more supportive approach in the future. No. But it is what it is, and you can navigate what you need. I came as I was in the area and wanted to find a purse..and it delivered, I found one, and bought one.
