However, I had to dock a few stars for the service quality at the beach club itself. I understand that the venue is large and busy, but there's really no excuse for how inattentive the staff were. We were sat and told to peruse the menu, then didn't see our attendant at all. After about an hour and half later, and multiple unsuccessful attempts to catch the eye of our attendant, another group pointed their attendant in our direction so we could finally order just some water and drinks. Overall, I would highly recommend the food at Castel Plage, but I would suggest looking elsewhere on the beach for a true luxurious beach club experience.

No problem, they've got you covered with umbrella availability. Aside from a beautiful place to lay out, I cant forget to mention the excellent customer service from the friendly staff. Hors d' oeuvres, and fun cocktails also at your convenience, brought to you right to your sun station. My partner and I got there late morning, and left early afternoon to explore the rest of Nice, but were delighted to hear that we were welcome to comeback before 6 and reclaim our sun beds. After dinner I grabbed another drink and found myself right across from Ponchettes Beach, so I decided to walk over and it actually turned into such a nice evening. The beach and promenade were full of people relaxing, hanging out, and taking in the gorgeous sunset. The vibe was laid-back and the colors over the water were beautiful. I'm glad I wandered over instead of heading straight to the hotel. It ended up being the perfect way to end the night.
