I had a simple chicken club sandwich which was well executed with toasted bread, fresh lettuce and tomato and nicely grilled chicken breast. The 2 bottles of Provence Rosé on a beautiful Mediterranean afternoon certainly didn't hurt either. Our lunch party all seemed to enjoy their food though we were all hungry after several hours on the beach. The only negative experience was a couple of tables of smokers which is not unusual in France, though. After reading some of these other reviews I'm just glad we were lucky to have a good overall experience.

The fish was fresh and the sauce perfectly complimented the dish. My husband enjoyed Poulpe rôti,tomate à la niçoise, eau de tomate épicée (roasted octopus). It was not a combination he had ever tried and really enjoyed it. When you walk to your seat you will pass a large case full of beautiful desserts. I started to throw up and stopped my husband and myself from eating my second course. They charged me for the entire, uneaten meal. I threw up 3x on the roadside going back to the hotel, and 3 more times in the hotel. I had a doctor the next day. H said maybe it was only one mushroom, but it made me very sick & staff was no helo. The hotel called the restaurant the next day, and they said no one else was sick. I don;t care- I WAS VERY SICK FROM MUSHROOMS AT THIS RESTAURANT.
