I hired this law firm during one of the most difficult times of my life after my husband of more…read morethan 30 years committed infidelity. Because our divorce involved multiple properties and significant assets, I needed experienced legal representation. When I first contacted the firm, I expected to work with one of the senior attorneys, but my case was assigned to Ms. Price, who was always respectful, courteous, and professional. My concerns were never with her personally. Unfortunately, my overall experience with the firm was very disappointing. Communication was extremely poor. There were long periods--sometimes months--without any updates on my case, and I often had to initiate contact by emailing or calling just to find out what was happening. On top of that, nearly every communication seemed to generate another charge. Emails, phone calls, faxes--everything was billed, making an already expensive process even more frustrating. As a first-time divorce client, I relied on the firm's guidance and expected better case management. Instead, I felt there was a lack of oversight from the senior attorneys. When I raised my concerns, they suggested a Zoom meeting, but it became apparent that they were not familiar with the details of my case. Eventually, Ms. Price left the firm, and I was given an ultimatum: stay with the firm, follow Ms. Price, or find another attorney. After spending nearly a year with this firm and making little meaningful progress, I decided to hire different counsel. The new attorney achieved the results I needed, but only after additional time and expense. The firm did not offer any reimbursement or credit despite my concerns. My advice to anyone considering this firm is to get everything in writing, ask for regular case updates, and carefully review how communication is billed so there are no surprises. This was a very stressful and costly experience, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this law firm based on my experience.

Attorney Clark-Wilson was knowledgeable and always knew what steps I needed to take next. I am very happy with the outcome of my case and feel she did everything necessary for my kids and I. I would definitely recommend the firm to anyone needing a family attorney.

Before sharing sensitive details, I directly asked the staff whether they had spoken with my wife or were representing her. I was told no. I relied on that answer and proceeded to disclose private and sensitive information about my divorce and circumstances. I later developed reason to believe there may have been prior contact or a potential conflict involving my wife. Had I been told that before discussing my case, I would never have disclosed anything. For a family-law firm dealing with highly confidential and adversarial matters, prospective clients need to be able to trust that conflicts are properly checked before they are encouraged to discuss sensitive information. I have retained documentation of my communications with the office and have submitted the matter to the appropriate professional authorities for review. Based strictly on my personal experience, I would not recommend this office.

I hired Samantha Lennon to handle the conclusion of a divorce action when the opposing attorney…read morewouldn't agree to the terms of the final decree. Attorney Lennon advised accepting less money than was ordered by the court, so another attorney was contracted and was able to negotiate the settlement originally sought. At one point Attorney Lennon didn't understand my requests and conveyed this to opposing counsel instead of working to align better with what was explained to her in multiple emails. I would not recommend hiring an attorney who tells opposing counsel that she's "confused" and advises her clients to accept less money than the court has awarded. When I decided on new counsel, Attorney Lennon refunded the majority of her fee.

He laid out the best course of my defense without charging a dime! This was in stark contrast to my experience with my first attorney. David was quickly able to get a read of my situation, and this spoke volumes to me. These attributes proved to be the most important attributes at our very first hearing only 2 days later. Misty was an excellent attorney throughout the entire case right from her first involvement. Nothing gets past her and she was able to quickly get a read of all parties in my case and was great at anticipating opposing counsel's every move throughout the entire case. She was very strategic all while being the most supportive attorney I could ever ask for, while navigating what's been the most difficult time in my life. Having worked with a prior firm where I was kept in the dark even when actively asking for details, Misty has been amazing at keeping me informed on the legal process, our filings, responses, the role of the Guardian Ad Litem as well as setting very realistic expectations throughout. One of her most amazing qualities was her ability to constantly recall details about my case that even I had forgotten, and these were memories of my life! Going through a highly contested divorce involving a minor child as a father, the journey initially felt like a lonesome one and very overwhelming. My separation and divorce began a year before COVID and like many others, was dragged out for a whole extra year past initial trial date. Though I discovered Tannen Law at a very unfortunate period in my life, I strongly feel I have been most fortunate to have them as the legal advocates for my son and I. Thank you David, Misty, Rhonda and Julia for everything! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for ALL your family law needs as they are exceptionally good at what they do, passionate and most importantly, all around good people. That last attribute, is really important for someone fighting for your family's fate. I sensed this at my first consultation and it has remained true almost 2 years later. THANK YOU TANNEN LAW!!!
