1 Star -- Extremely Disappointed…read more I hired this attorney to handle the probate of my mother and father. He was paid in full before providing services--something I now consider a major red flag. My father's probate was filed on July 2, 2025. After my mother's probate was completed and her Letters of Administration were published beginning March 18, 2026, I repeatedly contacted the attorney by text and email asking about my father's case. Getting answers was extremely difficult. I eventually contacted the probate clerk myself and discovered that documents were missing and the court had already mailed my attorney a letter notifying him of the missing documents. I ultimately received my father's Letters of Administration to publish beginning July 1, 2026--nearly a year after the case was filed. This delay had a real financial impact. I could not get the deed transferred into my name in time to apply for the homestead exemption before the deadline. When I questioned the attorney about the delay, his response was: "No time tables at all with probate. They take their sweet time." I understand that courts have their own timelines. What I expected from the attorney I paid in full was to monitor the case, address outstanding documents, communicate with me, and keep the process moving. Instead, I had to repeatedly chase him for updates and ultimately contact the court myself to find out what was happening. Probate is already difficult when you're dealing with the loss of both parents. Having to fight for basic communication from the attorney I hired only made it worse. In hindsight, paying the entire fee upfront should have been my first red flag. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this attorney for probate.

When I first became a client, I was given an attorney name, aftermarket gone by and I haven't heard anything, I called to check on my case and was told my attorney no longer work there. The paralegal I had was not responsive, no one was responding to the emails, the phone calls, I had that time was trying to find me another law firm and then I received an email from howe law stating that I signed an agreement for them to be the attorney. But it was so difficult trying to get someone to give me updates, anyone to return my phone calls, it was a terrible process. I was told another attorney was going to be signed my case, Christine, she was very pleasant but the responses will still the same. I had to give and try and retrieve information from the physicians where I was treated and pertaining to my accident in order to get to the attorney firm, I was told I would be reimbursed on bills that I was paid out of my pocket which I was not. I was given wrong information. It was a terrible process for me and I don't recommend this law firm to anyone. Prayfully, the process has gotten better and maybe the next person will have a better process than what I went through but it was terrible and I only wish I would have viewed yep before I chose them because if previous customers are giving you information on how bad their experience was, you may want to heed the comments and think about another Attorney at least way of the options. I even received the bill after my case was settled I never received a bill but I was told the attorney had it when I sent an email to the attorney a month after my case was settled no one from the attorney firm has responded to this date. I was told by the medical facility that the attorney had the bill, I never received a bill but I was told the attorney had and when I called for clarification or verification no one has had the courtesy to respond from Howe Law. Not a problem, I just paid the bill out of pocket. I wish I would have done much more thorough review when choosing the attorney. Read the reviews, pay attention, if you don't want to experience the same headaches. It was a terrible process for me. I don't wish what I went through , just simple getting responses from the attorney firm on anyone. Once I signed the paperwork accepting them as my attorney the communication process was almost severed. For a while I wasn't sure if they were my attorney or not in lieu of the lack of communication. This is a headache you just don't want to have especially when you're recovering from an motor vehicle accident the last thing you want to think about is being responsible for billing and paying for bills and third party liability that's why you choose an attorney. I had to deal with all of the above. I would never recommend this attorney firm to anyone. Prayerfully , the next client will have a much better outcome than what I had to experience.
