The location is great - central to the town and, despite the mega-corps massing on their flanks, this place shows no sign of closing down, slowing down or ever being anything other than packed to the rafters with punters. The place is permanently fogged up in Winter and specializes in parting you from large sums of money in exchange for brown, insipid liquid that you can make at home for a fraction of the price. If you're feeling particularly dull, you can compliment this with an overpriced sandwich, soft drink or cake too. Prices, as mentioned - and for all these types of places, are a little on the high side. Due to the constant attentions of the teens,the place could do with a bit of a makeover. Went here yesterday to grab something savoury as takeaway. There were 4 girls behind the counter…read more I asked for the chorizo and gruyere wrap and the grilled chix pesto Panini. they BARELY warmed them up and the girl ringing me up was asking if I wanted a side salad. "does it COME with a side salad?" to which she responds... "yes" why would I NOT want it? Both were eaten in less than four small bites (ie the smallest sandwiches I have bought from a deli). the salad was very fresh and crisp... probably the better tasting (now I can understand the hesitation of the server to part with it). very expensive for a sandwich shop, but plenty of cool hipsters around. I will take my business elsewhere.
