I hate leaving this review because Fran has done our taxes for years, but she made a pretty big…read moremistake that cost my family 10k. We had multiple w2's to file one year. Turns out she missed filing one of them and we received too much money in return. We questioned the large amount and were told we must have paid in more this year, and we had student loans that gave us rebates. A year later I received a letter from the IRS saying I didn't claim all my income. I took it to Fran. She pulled my file and saw the missing w2. She basically said "oops" and told me to pay it. She did write me a check for $1600 to cover the interest "out of the kindness of her heart" but told me we dont have a contract so shes not responsible for covering her mistake. Irs told me I would have to take her to court to get her to pay it and I cannot afford that
