I love a garden center and will go out of my way to meander through them on my travels. I saw this one when I was headed through town and pulled in. I spent about 10 minutes walking through the nursery and never saw a staff member. Sadly, I think the plants feel the same neglect-many of them appear to be in bad shape. This make me sad, since plants should be at their best in a professional nursery, and then potentially go downhill when people like me buy them. One redeeming quality about the garden center was the welcoming and eager-for-love black cat that was wandering around. I pet the cat for a minute or two and then went on my way. read more

The last photo is the beautiful arrangement they delivered today. I truly appreciate it! Updated Review: I initially gave a 5-star review, but changed it to 2 stars. I'm very disappointed with the arrangement I paid for vs what was delivered to my mother. The first photo is what was delivered and the second photo is what I paid for (the deluxe version). I understand substitutions need to be made sometimes, but this is unacceptable. I reached out to customer service (via email) about the issue and haven't received a response. I will not use Vernal Floral in the future. Previous Review: I had flowers sent to my grandma for mother's day. I've never used Vernal Floral before, but decided to give the local company a try (and I'm glad I did). The flowers were delivered on time and were beautiful. They even called her before hand to make sure she was home when they delivered them. I will definitely use Vernal Floral again in the future.

The best part of the selection was definitely the quilt patterns and the quilt kits - I've never seen so many in one store, let alone in such a small store!!
