I went to splash printing for a quote. The person I spoke to seemed unfriendly, and gave me a quote that was nearly twice as much as another printer in North London.
I asked him if he could give me the best deal and send me a written quote by email. After three days I had not received this quote. I called to ask why and he said he had sent the quote to the wrong email address as he had mis-read it, even though this was printed clearly on the business card I gave him.
When I said it had never happened before that a printing business had made such an error, he replied,- 'I hope you never make a mistake in your life.'
This statement was a reflection of a negative attitude, like he was trying to make me feel bad for being critical, instead of apologizing. If he was genuinely nice and helpful he would have said something like 'sorry, a mistake, let's see what we can do for you,' but he did not. read more
