Whistler Husky Market

Whistler Husky Market

Note: This is a review of the fuel pumps only. I have never been inside the Husky station…read more I have nothing against Husky stations, this one is just too crowded. A lot of people are renting a car, which makes them a bit slow at the pump. Many of the others are suffering from some sort of "gas station" rage. It is a mob scene here most after about 3:00 pm during ski season, as far as I can tell. This is also generally the time I am also available to get gas. Since right now this gas station is the only one in Whistler, everyone, from everywhere, shows up here. The last time I filled up my car, some woman took her small car and backed it so she could gas up, although her gas tank was on the opposite side of the car. The back of her car was facing the gas pump. I have also seen someone block a lane to use the car vacuum doing a lovely, detailed car vacuuming in the mist of people frantically trying to get around her car. She appeared completely clueless. Even if you see a pump open it can be really hard to get there. It's not really the station itself, it's the crowds that make this place somewhat unpleasant. All the oblivious people tend to make others cranky, and it's just my hope to get in and out of there as soon as possible. Personally, particularly during busy weeks and ski season, I recommend getting fuel in Squamish. They are opening a gas station in Rainbow soon, which should help diminish the crowd, at least somewhat. However, I still think this station will be crowded during busy times, and it tends to get a bit crazy when it's busy here.

Their pumps don't have an auto stop, this caused my tank to overflow, once it started overflowing…read morethere was no warning or anything to tell you it was happening. This alone is unacceptable but when I went in to inform them their pumps were malfunctioning they completely shrugged it off claiming it was fine and it would "just evaporate" which aside from the complete lack of concern for wasting my money, getting diesel all over my truck they don't seem to care at all they're dumping who knows how much gas and diesel all over the ground with enough regularity that they simply shrug it off and how this impacts the environment via run off. Definitely won't be back, they need auto shut off like every other proper gas station I've ever been to.

really straightforward and seamless process. My car is 4 yrs old and has only had the odd wash in…read morerecent years and the occasional interior simple vacuum job. It was noticeably dirty in and out, but nothing crazy. However, my friend had cleaned some of my my leather seats with Lysol during covid and that left a permanent very obvious stain/smear on the black leather...and its been 4 years since then. I could never figure out how to get it out. Tried several things. So that prompted me to get a detailing job and to see what they could do about it. I requested an appointment online via their online form. I picked a service (their signature detailing service with 1 stage paint correction) and then they emailed me a confirmation of appointment time the next day. I brought my car in at the specified time. I took the guy to the car to show him where the stains were I wanted specifically looked at. He gave me an estimated time and warned me this might not be fixable. They texted me when the car was done and I came back to pick it up. Great detailing job. Cant complain really. But most impressive were the Lysol stains. In certain angles you can still barely make it out but its largely gone and no longer noticeable. At the end I paid the fixed price quoted initially, no hidden fees or extra charges. Price wasnt cheap but you know it up front so there are no surprises. They take credit card. Service was great. Their work is great. Pricing is on the higher side but the process was easy and Im happy with the result.

Blitz did an amazing job detailing our old rav 4! The exterior and interior were spotless and they…read moregot every nook and cranny. Super impressed and highly recommend. We were able to book an appointment the day before and got confirmation in the evening for the next day. Our only mistake was not getting a before shot to share the before & after! Thank you

Not my fav at all; tight to turn to either aisle of gas pumps, plus the washroom is outside around…read morethe corner so u'll have to go inside and ask for the key. And one can forget about the side entrance on Cypress on a one way street heading south...plus watch out for cyclists. which leaves w.4th as the only viable exit out.

DO NOT go here, even just to use the washroom. I was in the area waiting for my car to get fixed…read moreand had to use the washroom badly. I went in to inquire about needing a key. They said I didn't need one so I went out around back and it was locked so I waited and waited, waited, and I waited more. I decided to go to the Chevron to use theirs. As I was gong I turned back and saw who I thought was one of them coming out of the washroom so I went back. When he saw me coming, he shut the door which I thought was odd (keep in mind there was NO mention of a time out button to open the washroom). I went to the other station and theirs was out of order and came back. The door was still locked so I waited again. I finally went in and told them the door had been locked for a very long time (still no mention of a time out open the door button). I mentioned that I had seen someone coming out and that I thought it was one of the staff but not sure. Instead of explaining about the button to let me in, they got extremely angry with me yelling and accusing me of treating them badly. Said I could use the washroom but to never come back. I went out and it was locked. I told them it was locked and he said rudely. "someone is in there". Then I explained that I just was wondering why he didn't let me in the washroom" They got really rude with me, saying things like "you watch too much TV" and "I'm having fun right now". Then he said "you can use the washroom now. I did and left in tears, feeling completely discriminated against not to mention GASLIT!! I beg you to avoid this rude upsetting place. If I could post 0 stars or negative 5 plus stars I would.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE I may have been expecting too much, but…read morefor a hand car wash, a surprising amount was missed on the outside of my car...and the $5 super/quick shine is not evident or worth it. But if you want to avoid machines and are looking for someone to hand wash your car, this would be the place to go, given the limited options in Richmond! === 2. PRODUCT Full-sized Car Wash ($36) includes: - Pressure washer rinse. - Hand scrub of your wheel rims. - Hand wash and rinse of your car. [Exit the car] - Vacuum of the car's interior. - Hand dry of the car's exterior and door jambs. [Return to the car] It was good, but they did seem to miss a number of spots on the back (around the car logos and license plate) as well as on the rims, despite the hand-oriented wash method. I also paid $5 for the super quick shine - supposedly a spray on shine, but either they didn't put it on or I could not tell it was on when they finished drying my black car. === 3. SERVICE Service was pleasant and polite in English and Japanese. Speed was quite reasonable given the process and a small wait with other cars in front - about 25 minutes total. === 4. ENVIRONMENT Getting and getting through the drive-thru nature of the business can seem cramped, likely for those with larger SUVs. A small but pleasant waiting room is available during the vacuum and hand dry portions of the car wash process. Those in a wheelchair or with a baby would likely have a challenge with the latter half of the wash process.

Scratched the living hell out of my brand new 2021 C43. This place is TERRIBLE. Whoever was washing…read moremy car left huge scratches on the back bumper that looked like someone had taken sand paper to it. There were multiple small scratches around the rest of the car as well as well as swirl marks. I could have gotten a better wash at a gas station! If you value your car DO NOT go here. I didn't notice until I got home since they hurried me out of the establishment after my car had been done as they work in an assembly-line fashion. I spoke to the owner about it and he denied all responsibility and said it was literally IMPOSSIBLE that his staff could've done any of this and treated me like a joke. I showed him over 10 other reviews of people saying they had their vehicles damaged and he said this exactly "Why are you showing me this? Should I care?" Absolute joke of a human being. People work very hard for their vehicles and property and when you damage it, you should at least be apologetic let alone responsible.
