During the last rainstorm, my windows and sunroof opened, and the inside of my car was completely soaked. I called and spoke with Ryan, who was kind, professional, and explained everything clearly. He told me to bring the car in without an appointment, and they'd do their best. Just 7 hours later, my car was ready--and wow! They removed nearly all the water, detailed the entire interior, and even cleaned the exterior. Ryan and his team went above and beyond. Highly recommend--10+ stars if I could! read more

Waste of money. We got the exterior wash and when we got to our next destination the car looked terrible. The back didn't look washed at all. There were rag wipe marks all over. Probably would have been better if they didn't wipe it down. There were big patches of salt and San on the back that I'm surprised they missed. Won't go back. read more

It took so long for the one attendant on duty to finally wipe down my car following the wash that horrible water marks dried on the surface. I had to go home and spend a couple of hours with a buffer and wax to remove them. ugh -this business is now WIRE WASH not Splash Car Wash- read more

Yery disappointed with the results of the wash. I will not be returning. There should be someone there to explain how to go about vacuuming your vehicle. There is, however, a sign stating where the vacuuming station is. The sign also states that it is self service and to stay in your vehicle at all times. How does that happen. read more

Came in for an oil change at the Southbury location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The service was quick and included a vehicle wash. Wash came with a vacuum and wipe down of interior plus cleaning of windows. All went well! The staff from start to finish were very polite. read more

The water is recycled and stinks awful inside the car wash. Car is still dirty with dirty water spots all over the windows. The vacuums don't work in the self serve section and overall terrible waste of $20.! read more

had an oil change today and they were so professional and efficient and friendly. I have a future coupon for a car wash and definitely will go back to this location. They gave me a reminder sticker on my window and I definitely will come back to them again. 5 stars read more

This is more of the review for their 5 Star Auto Detail service center. I got my R1T coated with the Simoniz Diamond plate. They did a fantastic job at a fantastic price. I had ceramic coating done to my other car at more than triple the price and atleast from my detail oriented eyes they are the same. Shawn the owner does the work and he does a fantastic job. Definitely not a 2.5 star place. read more

I went in for a car wash and detail. The work done was great. The problem is a month later my card was charged. The attendant literally signed me up for a monthly service without my consent, without my signature and without me knowing. No account was created. Nothing to indicate I was now enrolled. I get text notifications for any credit card transaction and saw I was charged for another wash. I called the Southbury location and was told I needed to come in, they would refund me but I need to sign a cancellation form because I must be enrolled . I asked why I need to sign a cancellation - where is the paperwork for me signing up? There was no paperwork or documentation. The attendant literally just signed me up to be billed monthly. I was able to get a refund but having been signed up for a service unlawfully, and needing to take time out of my day to sign a cancellation document to get refunded is not great customer service. I also am concerned for someone who is elderly or not as attentive to their credit card transactions. Horrible experience. read more

Left splash and noticed tons of swirls in my paint, it appears only to be on the driver side and nothing on the right. I'm assuming the tech wiping the truck after the wash needs to change their towels out more often. read more

There must have been a management change. Great attentive, detailed service, great communication through the process. Love the free car wash after the oil change too! read more

Brought in a vehicle that I just purchased to be detailed and I would give more than 5 stars if I could. It wasn't pretty before bringing it in and Shawn got it looking exceptional. My appointment was initially for Friday, and Shawn gave me a call that I could bring it in Tuesday due to a cancellation. I couldn't bring it in until 2:30 though, and they close at 5:00. Shawn and the rest of the team got it looking as good as they did in just over 2 hours! Absolutely amazing service! read more

My car is never cleaned when I go there, I've been several times and the same result. I go every 6 or 8 months out of convenience, and I always get reminded Not to go back. I always have to clean my car afterwards when I get home. I could hardly see out my windshield with the sun this time because it was left dirty. And this place is more expensive than other car washes. I paid for under-wash and never saw the light go on for it. (?) You might as well go to a gas station car wash, seriously! (Not that I would, just saying). I know it's cold out and it was somewhat busy, not terrible, and I tip appropriately. I support local businesses; however, this one, in my opinion, is a waste of money and time. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I'm truly Sorry! We need a better car wash in Southbury! read more

I was offered monthly membership which was a pretty good deal. I asked several times if I could cancel over the phone and was told that "it's like Netflix, you can cancel anytime over the phone". Car wash was fine and the people are friendly. The problem started a month later when I was unexpectedly charged for their monthly membership. (I had been in only the one time and specifically asked for the single car wash.) I called and asked them to reverse since I never signed up for this; I was told I had to come back in *in person* to complete paperwork. I returned, filled out the paperwork, and was told that an employee was signing people up for memberships without permission. I waited two weeks for a refund that never came. I called them back and was told to give it another week. Another week -- no refund. I called again and was given a direct customer service number. I called that and was told that I should have called the number *first* since that was the only way to get a refund. I gave them all of my information AGAIN and asked to have a manager call me given how awful the entire 2+ month experience was for one car wash. My refund came but a call never did. read more

This place is awful. For $36 they didn't clean the inside, dust, and didn't vacuum the floors completely. And they didn't throw away the trash in my car like I asked them to. I would never go back here even if you paid for me to. read more

Probably the worst experience ever with this car wash. Pay top dollar (over $40) for what is suppose to be their highest level for a wash. Window on the interior not cleaned, Vacuum in the interior was much less than expected, Rims still dirty. When I ask for someone to look at the job that was done I get a snotty women telling me she paid extra attention to the detail. When asked for the manager he just defended the the work performed and both were extremely unprofessional. I can kick myself for going there because every time it's the same thing. Over priced for inferior work performed. I would rather travel to the car was in Waterbury and do it myself for 10 bucks. Never again, I tried NO MAS! read more

If you have subpar standards for customer service and you are ok with overspending to get a car wash that leaves your vehicle covered with soap residue, then this is the place for you. I paid for the works extra wash and for my interior to be wiped down, to include my all weather mats. I live only a mile and a half from the car wash and when I returned home and got out to look at the vehicle, I realized the entire right side was covered with soap residue that I've never been wiped off. The mats in the back of my car were never washed. I am mediately turned back to bring this to the car wash attendance attention. He informed me that I would have to get back in line, which at this point had about eight cars sitting in it. I would have to wait another half an hour or more to have my car properly cleaned, even though I already paid in full for the service that was not provided. The employee was incredibly rude and dismissive. I would recommend driving somewhere else to get your car washed even though this is the only one in Southbury. I guess when you're the only game in town it's easy to treat people however you want and expect them to return. Look at their overall Yelp rating and that tells the story. read more

Go somewhere else....don't waste your money. By far the worst car wash I have ever used. Unfortunately I went back to seconds. The first time I brought my car to the Southbury location the outside of the car was still dirty on the back of the car...and I mean dirty like it had never been washed. And the windows on the inside were all streaky and I had to redo the front windshield myself when I got home it was smudged so badly. Apparently they used a dirty rag or no window cleaner. Since they are the only game in town I decided to give them a second try. It was EXACTLY the same level of horrible quality. I spoke to the manager who really didn't care but at least her took the car back for a second run thru. However the windows were just as bad. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I paid for a wash and vacuum. They only vacuumed the front of my suv so I had to ask for them to vacuum the whole thing (thought that would be a given) and they still did a horrible job. One of the men asked me to take a survey before I even saw my car which I thought was very sketchy. When I got home it barely looked like they washed my car. I reached out to get a refund and they refused and said I needed to drive back so they could see. I guess the customers not right at this business establishment. I'm not going to be inconvenienced for their screw up. I won't be going back which is a shame since this was on my way home from work and I would have been a loyal customer. $35 down the drain which is a lot, especially for a teacher. read more

Watch your credit cards for unauthorized charges!! My husband and I have tried Splash Car Wash in Southbury on a few occasions, but every time we are disappointed. The work was substandard at best. So, we swore to never use them again a couple of years ago. Which is why we were so surprised to see recurring charges on a card of ours dating back to November 2021 totaling over $3,000! I called Splash and spoke to Emily (who was very nice and was as helpful as she could be) and was told that the charges were for a wash memberships, but there were no vehicles listed for those memberships and that they had never been used. I requested the membership paperwork for them and was told that she'd have to get her manager involved because she didn't have access to the actual paper files. She took my email and phone number and said to expect the paperwork in the next day or so. I followed up for over a week to no avail. No manager ever emailed me nor called me and each time I called I just got told that they were still working on it. I got the hint that there was no intent for Splash to email me membership paperwork because at no point did either of us sign up for a membership and contacted our credit card fraud department. Happy to say that within two weeks of opening the fraud case, we have ALL of our money returned and a block from any future charges from Splash. Not a sustainable way to do business. Shame on you Splash! read more

12/29/20 after a long trip to Miami Beach and back to Connecticut it was definitely time to wash and detail our SUV. Having our dog on the trip with us was great. So as you can imagine with the dog hair left behind on the seats, the sand and grit from our shoes, the French fries and Starbucks green cup stopper hiding between/under the seat (you know exactly what I'm talking about, LOL) it was time for a wash. This location really done a fantastic job getting our suv back to looking new inside and out. The $57.00 was so well worth it that we took our other suv up for the same service. Thank you Southbury Splash Car Wash for a great job! read more

Staff seems to be hard working, but the service here has gone down in a big way and the prices have gone up. I had to go through twice this morning because the didn't use soap the first time. Then when they "cleaned" the windows, I had to ask for them to fix the streaks they left. Which they didn't. My rear view mirror wasn't cleaned, and on and on. I will never waste my money here again. I'm so frustrated. read more

Staff were sufficiently pleasant, however, I paid $70 for the works and a super interior and was greatly disappointed. I walked over when they were done with the interior and it didn't look like the outside was washed at all. They, somewhat begrudgingly, ran it back through the wash with the result being the same. On top of it they didn't dry it the second time or apply tire shine again. When I got in to drive away I noticed the interior barely looks like they touched it. After years of disappointment, today was the day I tried calling their corporate offices to ask what the deal was and was told I couldn't speak to anyone just a rude customer service agent who seemed overly happy knowing she provided absolutely no help whatsoever. If you're thinking about going to splash for a car wash you'll be better off waiting for it to rain and run up and down the highway a couple of times while taking out your frustration by yelling out the window at the raindrops. You'll get the same result. Negative 17 out of 5 stars. Everyone's expectations are different, so I f you've never been, give them a shot once. If you're happy, great but if you're dissatisfied know that's the norm not a bad day. read more

This is a "quick wash" car wash only. If you want a detailing service DO NOT go here. I paid $70 for interior detailing and a wash on the outside. when i got in my car it looked like every part of my interior was cleaned with the same product which is a big no no. the Plastic parts of the dash were foggy and streaky. The leather was GREASY. My steering wheel was slipping everywhere. Needed to go home and clean all my smooth surfaces with the correct product and then they shined. Also had to clean all the grease off my steering wheel. i waited an hour for all of this, cant make it up. By the time i got my car i was just grateful to be out of there. this place is fine for a quick wash but if you want your interior cleaned do not come here. read more
