Hey Splash take note there is a reason I did NOT tip. First impression upon pulling up to request service is the guy was bothered by me wanting service. I believe I payed for the Super Wash (20 bucks) Asked for cherry air freshener. (Can't smell a thing)? A 10 year old untrained child could have done a better job of vacuuming the interior!! Well, used to be that when you pay for a car wash, they washed the whole thing. Not here! When they clean the inside, they only do the front seats and floors. Windows, back seat and the normal stuff incurres a surcharge of 7 bucks. Even if you get the premium service. Hasta la byebye Spash. read more

I'm thinking they need more competition in this "one wash town". I got the $30 car wash today in hopes of a BEAUTIFULLY WAXED car. I was told there was a spray wax that they wiped off by hand. Well, I saw the guy dry off the car slightly (like one normally woould), clean the inside, do the tires and call out that it was done. Did I miss something or was I completely jipped? I'm thinking the $15 car wash would have been the same outcome. They didn't even wipe out my cup holders! and the whole process was VERY slow. :( I would suggest a full car wash OUTSIDE of town and to use this place for the $5.99 exterior only wash. Also, there was a card on the counter that said if "you leave a great review on Google reviews" you'll get a free carwash. I'm in the mindset that the review needs to be DESERVED and I'll PAY for my car wash and leave THIS review. :) read more

I admit - I never write bad reviews, mostly because if I don't like a place I simply don't go there again. That being said I don't live in town and I found this place by the recommendations of a mechanic I used in Ridgecrest too. I should also admit I got the auto detailing done and it was 100$. The manager/owner (?) was very polite, solicitous, and I really appreciated him formulating a custom clean for me. The outside of my car is always going to suck because some industrious young people keyed one side, and traveling through ridgecrest and bakersfield makes it dirty... so I don't worry about that much. The inside is where its at and my car was GROSS. So in short they did a wonderful job on the interior (and exterior) and the price was less than I expected. I'm getting ready to sell my car, so I decided to get it detailed first. I've been here before to get my car washed, and they've always done good work. This was my first detailing experience, and they did a wonderful job!! Made my four year old look like new!! I highly recommend Splash! It takes about 4-5 hours, since it takes time to dry. I've never written a Yelp review, but I feel compelled to do so after my experience today. I came to Splash for a wash and a wax, but was told that vacuuming the inside was part of the process. Well, OK. After walking away, I wondered if I should have cleaned out all the valuables inside the car, but then I would have to carry everything around town. Naw, seems like a nice place. When I returned, the car looked great. The only problem was that a coin purse, filled with $40 of emergency cash and left under the floor mat, was missing. The manager was helpful, but there wasn't much that could be done. "Nope, the person who vacuumed the car didn't see it." Ah. Right. So, while the work was fine, I write this review to remind future customers to be aware that items can go missing. Ironically, I picked Splash due to the positive reviews on Yelp. It only takes one bad employee to negatively affect a business. Caveat emptor. read more

The short blonde manger was extremely rude to my 76 year old mother Mary. Totally unprofessional and uncalled for behavior.

Every time I go to the car wash I purposely leave quarters in my change holder and what do you know they're gone. So to the white guy working there with the beard, enjoy your 3$ tip and my 3 quarters. I guess I shouldn't care but after 17 years in law enforcement 10 of which I was a police officer and detective , I guess I expect more from employees especially at a car wash that washes all the police cars for the city. read more

What used to be a reasonable wait has turned into 1-2 hours to get a basic wash. The cars are not being put through the wash but rather are just parked in a line. The car wash it self is not even running. When asked why it's taking so long the attendant said" they don't have a lot of people on the clock." The finish guys are waiting for something to do!! I have been taking m truck here for about 4 years now. I take really good care of my truck and I always like it clean, inside and out. Splash does a good job at keeping my truck up to my standards. I have never had any issues with scratches or anything like that. The guys that take care of the cars know that they will get a good tip if they do a good job. I have never had a bad experience there. Had a couple special detailing jobs done there and was happy with the outcome then too. Keep up the good work Splash. read more

Never again will I take my vehicles there. I purchased the $30 wash. The lazy worker did not do a good job. I still had bug guts on my front bumper and grill. My windows still had dirt on them. Car doesn't look like it was waxed. The sad part is that my car is only a month old! It now has more scratches. They even scratched the windshield. The inside of my car door has a cut now too. The inside of my car still has dirt marks. WTF, if you want customers to come back, at least do a good job. I will wash my own vehicles from now on. At least I know I will do a better job. They do an OK job, but so super slow. There does not seem to be any desire to get you in and out in a timely matter. I will not be back.

These guys provide an excellent wash for the price and good work for the young kids working there. Bring a book for a high end wash @ $30, or drop car for a detail ~$100 & come back in 3 hrs. I find a coupon at the grocery store and if the kid is meticulous, leave an excellent tip. Otherwise just a moderate tip... All for the adv price of the wash. Be flexible to some quality variation in the hands-on for the wash (depending on the kid), but the detail has always been top-drawer, and priced reasonably in comparison to other towns in SoCal. read more

Never leave anything in your car of value... anything from a dead rose that has road around in your car for 3yrs from your brother-in-laws funeral to money in a can barried in your center console when getting your car washed at Splash car wash because apparently they have the ability to know you NO Longer need it..... In my opinion, they do an average job. I just go to them because they are the only full service car wash in town. I usually get the manager's special wash. Some days I'm in n out within 30 minutes but it usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. read more

Ridiculously slow. Only one other car in the place and after 35 minutes, I told them just to give me my keys. I was done. Lots of employees around, a lot of them including the manager, doing nothing. A super crappy experience. read more

I was there an hour and when the car finally came out of the automated wash it was another 15 til I got my car. Also the the automated wash left scratches all over my truck I recommend you wash ur own car or go out of town. read more
