We met at local park and he took outstanding family photos (with our two elementary age boys). He called us a few hours before the shoot to solidy what we were going to do and that put me at ease. He had scheduled himself to be on vacation that week, but he was so generous that he took time off from his vacation to shoot my engagement proposal. He went the extra mile - arrived early, stayed late and even help participate... in my proposal plans (I proposed at a local art gallery and he acted as if he were the gallery guide). He has a unique, creative style and was able to capture exactly what I wanted in my engagement proposal photos. Every single one of Jason's photos was incredible and there were over 200 of them! After the photo shoot, he got the photos to us with the quickest turn around time I have ever seen. The ordering process was a breeze and he provided the digital copies to us so that we could use them on our wedding website and Facebook. Jason really bent over backwards for us - whenever we needed something, he was there to provide. We like him so much that we going to have him come out to San Diego to shoot our wedding if he's available. I promise, if you go with Exposure Photography (www.exposurebyjtalley.com) you won't be disappointed!

Most photographers do not release their pricing and ask more questions than they answer. Habashy was very quick to respond with a quote and answered all my questions. I once came across a statistic which stated that 20% of people that receive bad service are likely…read moreto write a negative review about their experience, while only 10% or people that receive good service are likely to write a positive review about their experience. Well I believe that 99% of people that receive EXCEPTIONAL service end up writing a positive review about their experience! So here I am reviewing Habashy Photography's exceptional service. Backstory: My wife has been yearning for a family photo session for quite some time now. I, on the other hand, have been avoiding it at all costs. Three reasons: (1) we have a 3-year old, (2) we have a 1-year old, and (3) they're boys. Don't get me wrong. They're adorable and we need to capture as many pictures of them as we can while that cuteness lasts. But herding cats that caught on fire would be easier. Every time I try to picture (no pun intended) how the photo session would go, it ends with the photographer giving us back our money, putting his camera up for sale, and dialing up his psychiatrist. Along comes Habashy. To put it simply, he is the real deal. Talented, patient (I suspect he may even be a toddler-whisperer) and provides excellent all-around customer service. Talent: Not much I can say other than the dude has got an eye for this kind of thing. Habashy has an uncanny ability at turning a seemingly ordinary moment into extraordinary memory with one quick snap. Patient: As previously mentioned, we have 2 high-energy boys with the combined attention span of a fly with severe ADHD. Yet Habashy genuinely displayed the patience of a monk as he somehow got them to sit still, smile and even hug! Customer Service: In my opinion, this is the most important factor that makes or breaks any service regardless of quality. Once again, in this area, Habashy excelled. He was genuinely courteous and listened to all our needs. The turnaround was amazing. We got our pictures the very same day and they looked absolutely breathtaking. All-in-all, if you're looking for a photo session and have been hesitant whatever the reason maybe, just call on Habashy, show up, and have him take care of the rest. You won't regret it.

I was referred to Tomayia Colvin by my husband's client. I browsed her Instagram and fell in love…read morewith her ability to capture amazingly unique images. For the most part, many of them looked like they could be in magazines and not the run of the mill senior pics that I was accustomed to seeing. I knew then that we wanted her for my daughter's senior photos. The photo shoot was set for 3/14/17 in downtown Houston due to my daughter wanting a graffiti background in her pictures. Ms. Colvin was very personable and she made my daughter feel comfortable. 3/23/17- We viewed the proofs and they were no less than amazing. I ordered a package that included announcements, 11x14 standout print, hardcover album and 4 sheets of prints. I paid for the entire order the same day. 4/7/17- I received a text from Ms. Colvin stating that my order was ready. 4/9/17- My daughter and I met Ms. Colvin at nearby Starbucks to pick the order. The 4 sheets of prints were not available. The hard cover picture album had one page where the binding cut into my daughter's image so the album had to be made over. So, the only items that we received that day were the graduation announcements and the 11X14 standout picture. 4/30/17- I texted Ms. Colvin asking if the album and prints would be ready by 5/13/17. Ms. Colvin responded promptly with "Ok,got it." 5/10/17 - I texted Ms. Colvin again asking if the album and prints would be in ready in time for Kyra's graduation (5/13/17). She responded promptly with "Yes, they are here". I asked her to let me know when she would be available to meet up. (insert cricket interlude here) because I didn't receive a response from my question asking when would we be able to meet with her to get them. 5/12/17- I received a text from Ms. Colvin stating "Howdy, I've left your book and prints at the UPS store". We picked up the album and 3 of the 4 prints. Ms. Colvin included a post-it note stating that there was still 1 remaining print that she owed us. 6/15/17- I texted Ms. Colvin asking if the last print was ready. (insert cricket remix here) because no response from her at all. 6/26/17- I send another text to Ms. Colvin about this outstanding print that she owes us. She responds in text saying that she will ship to us and what is our mailing address. I respond with the address. 8/4/17 - As of this date, I still have not received this last print nor have I received any communication from Ms. Colvin. I sent her an email to express my dissatisfaction in not receiving this outstanding item. I paid her for my entire order in one transaction yet I have received most of the order in a piece meal fashion. Dragging out the delivery of a client's order is unacceptable and unprofessional especially when the client did not pay you in a piece meal fashion. 8/5/17 at 10:05AM - (insert cricket extended play version here) because still haven't heard from her. 8/9/17 - Complaint # 12317653 was filed with the Better Business Bureau of Houston since my email was unable to render a response from Ms. Colvin. Lo and behold, my BBB Complaint managed to rouse her. I received an email from Ms. Colvin on 8/9/17 titled: An Open to Letter My Clients". I assume it was meant to read: An Open Letter to My Clients. In short, she explains that she has been "going up the rough side of the mountain" due to personal family matters and apologizes for not being "joyous, efficient and on top of things". What she failed to explain was when I would actually receive this outstanding print. 8/17/17- No print received to date. 8/26/17- Received a tracking # for the print. 9/1/17- Print was delivered as well along with some extra prints. God is good and His mercy endures forever! Thank you, Ms. Colvin. In summary, I will say that she is an incredible photographer -her pics prove it. But, from a professional standpoint, Tomayia Colvin photography has some work to do. If you choose to use her, you'll absolutely love the finished product, but if my experience is any indication of what you'll encounter after you have paid for your order, you may want to get confirmation in writing when you pay as to when you will actually receive your products.

After she did such a great job with my sister's maternity shoot, I reached out to Tomayia Colvin via email to inquire about a generational family photography shoot. She responded immediately with her availability and asked if I had any personal ideas that I wanted to cover during the shoot. She also mentioned that she offered makeup services. We confirmed a date and I told her to feel free to do anything. She sent me the link to pay online (which was very easy and user-friendly) and I was confirmed. She arrived on time with props and her assistant to my grandmother's house. Much to my liking, she was able to transform the outside of my grandmother's house into a beautiful atmosphere for a photoshoot with only a chair. I mean, the large bush in the background of our pics has been there for years. Nonetheless, with the angles she chose, you would not know the shoot took place in her front yard. After about an hour (prep and shooting), we were done. She explained the selection process and turn around time in detail, then allowed us to ask any questions. We received our proofs link quickly and were able to view and pick out several poses we loved. Once finalized, we were given a confirmation that the photos were available to download. Tomayia also let us know about the latest packages she offers. We have plans to put the photos throughout each of our homes. I truly appreciate the outstanding service I received and will definitely be a customer for life.
