The line to order is about to spill outside, but it looks like the line moves fast. The food is high quality and delicious. It's a place you can sit down or take out. Festive decorations. The cashier barely spoke and what little she felt required to speak, you couldn't hear her anyways. Very unfriendly, not even a pleasant look on her face let alone a friendly one. I had ordered salad bar and my husband a half sandwich and one time through. My husband was still getting his salad before we had been seated and he hears an employee say "hey" and hold out a plate to him and he said "oh that's my sandwich already"? She responds rudely "uh yeah!" With almost an eye roll. The salad bar was stocked but all the utensils were greasy to the point that I went and washed my hands after. Every booth was dirty with plates, many tables and all that were still clean were tables in the middle and no one out cleaning off tables. Someone finally did come start cleaning tables after we had been seated. It was around 3 pm so not even during a lunch rush. So bottom line is that the food is Jason's but the service and upkeep are not.

This would really help get the word out about them and their change hours. I thought they would be closed, but I gave it a chance and I saw that they were open and they changed her hours once again. I completely get it and understand, but my advice to them is to have more of an online presence to help people to help themselves. When I come in, I wanna feel good and be welcomed with a friendly face instead of feeling at times like I'm a bother for even coming in... Maybe it's close to their closing time however they continuously change your hours so it's really hard not to do that sometimes. Most recent time I went in I forgot I had a punchcard I wanted to use, however unfortunately, it was in my other purse and unfortunately, the person who took care of me didn't offer to give me a new one or when I come in next time I can get two or anything. this definitely was a missed opportunity and left me feeling like I wasn't appreciated as a customer. For a business that is not getting a lot of business I would think they would go above and beyond anytime and chance that they get whenever faced with a customer or potential customers! There's a lot of opportunities here that I have seen. I just hope that they can do more and get more business , because I really do love this place!

The staff is so friendly and made me feel like I already belonged. Fun music too and lots of seating available. For sandwiches, I got Mike's Classic and my partner got The Godfather. When we went to pick up our order from the counter, they threw in some extras since it was our first time. Such an unexpected surprise! The potato salad - wow. I'm not even a big potato salad girlie but the dijon mustard in there was *chefs kiss*. I will definitely be getting that again. The macaroni salad was also good. My hoagie was somehow light and filling at the same time. The melted cheese melted my heart. I will be back again for that ooey gooey deliciousness!

But these guys do make a BIG swing and a BIG hit. First off, customer service. Justin waited on me and asked right away if I was a first-timer, which I was, and at the end of a quest to arrive here. And so he gave me the layout in the menu, the NJ flown in Liscio's bread, and the Cooper American cheese and shaved sliced beef. It's the real deal and it does travel well, at least for 3-4 miles back home. It's a 10 inch sub, there are many options. I went classic. But check the pics of menu items (the Mort looks great, Mortadella coma?!) But the classic will fill. And it is tasty. Simple, authentic, tasty. That's why we are here. And the friendly customer guidance, beyond any expectations, when anyone is at the counter, they are recognized if regulars, acknowledged if first timers and the center of the universe for the counter man, (in this case, Justin). And, a couple of Dum-Dum lollipop treats for the wife who abstained for today. The sandwich was a hit. It's a bit expensive, but I understand we just beat a line out the door crowd at 11:15, so plan accordingly. I'll be back. Must try other items too. Beer and soda available. Worth the trip if authenticity is your bag, baby, if not, there's always Jersey Mikes, but support local, man! Get with the Harry's groovy and tasty vibe.
