I was surprised that they had so many cool things you can buy at the snack counter. They've come a long way since the last time I was there in that regard. The staff was also super friendly which I appreciate. As far as our movie experience I love the reclining seats and how roomy it is. Someone forgot to turn the lights off when the movie started so all of the previews and the first five minutes of the movie were in the bright lights but they eventually went off. The bathrooms could use some attention. Some of the doors don't lock and some toilets need unclogged and cleaned. Overall we had a good experience and will be back!

Immediately when walking in there was no less than 4 staff members standing around in an empty theater doing nothing while there was popcorn and trash ALL over the floor. The counters were all disgusting, sticky and trash everywhere. There was no popcorn made and when asked they said they "might" make some "soon". No urgency to make popcorn for paying customers. The slushie machines looked like they hadnt been made in years. They were literally grey like moldy. We went into the theater. It was absolutely disgusting. Every chair was worn down and had trash and sticky or buttery residue. Half the chairs the recline feature didnt even work. The sound quality was awful. Could barely hear it. We asked staff to turn it up and nothing changed. Shortly after the sound died completely. We told the staff and it was "fixed" but it was still at a very low register. Possibly even lower than before. We could hear every one around us inside and outside, and the theaters on either side. Literally could hear everything BUT the movie we came to see. The bathrooms were not clean. It was overall an awful experience and I will not be back. It saddens me to see such a beautiful place declined so horribly.

There was no trash upon entry to the space and auditorium. The theater kitchen was not yet open when checking in, so I ordered nachos and cheese. Though food options such as chicken tenders and bites are served. There are options for alcoholic beverages if you'd like to indulge during your trip. I enjoyed the film and being able to select my seat prior to assisted in not being seated too closely to others. The recliners are always a plus. I'm an avid Fandango user and suggest ticket purchases online for convenience and seating selection.

This was my first time really visiting the science center. I've got to say I was really impressed. It has things to offer young and old alike, it's very educational and amazing resource to have in Greensboro. In addition to the small aquarium they have a zoo, with a vast array of animals, a large outdoor play ground, as well as a ropes coarse and zip line that are an additional cost. I was really amazed by how much they had to offer. The science center is spread out over many acres, so it never feels to crowded. This is 100% I'd recommend people take friends and family visiting, especially if they have children with them. Staff we interacted with was very friendly, informative and helpful. Tickets are good for reentry on the same day, so if you decide to go get lunch elsewhere, you can still come back. They have a massive parking lot, so that should never be an issue. Just a great experience, lots of fun things to see and do. Go check them out!

The highlight for all three of us was definitely the stingray touch tank, getting that close and actually petting them was so cool. And seeing the penguins up close? Absolutely amazing. There's just something special about watching a child experience these things for the first time. It took me right back to when I came as a kid, and getting to share that with my grandchild made it even more meaningful. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, the temperature inside was comfortable, and the weather outside cooperated beautifully. We also appreciated how manageable the crowds were and parking was better than expected, we even snagged a front spot! The reason this is four stars instead of five comes down to timing and expectations. We visited during spring break, which is one of the busiest weeks of the year, and unfortunately several exhibits we were looking forward to, including the red panda, the tigers, and the meerkats, were not available. For a week when families, grandparents, and school groups are specifically planning around this visit, you would hope the full experience would be ready to go. It was a noticeable disappointment, especially for the little ones. That said, what was available was genuinely enjoyable and we will definitely be back, hopefully with the full lineup next time!

Since the 1980's, they have done quite a bit of renovation to this almost 100 year old venue. I was like most folks as we entered the facility and kept looking around at everything. Staff was welcoming and helpful as I got our "will call" tickets and found our seats for the concert. Such an awesome facility, restored to showcase the design of the 1920s. I enjoyed the concert, but enjoyed returning to this gem in Greensboro.

For the two of us, we spent only $2. This beats renting a DVD and watching it at home in a heartbeat. The line wasn't long and the employees were friendly as well. The screen was very big and sound was great. The film started on time instead of having 30 minutes of previews. I didn't give this theater 5 stars because of where it is located, and it's not the cleanest theater around. However, it is definitely worth more than the price and we will continue to view films here.
