They did not recline. Apparently the luxury portion is left to the imagination. The rest of the experience was equally impressive. The sound was distorted because at least one speaker in our auditorium appeared to be blown, and the prices suggest a theater offering a considerably better experience than this one actually provides. If you are going to advertise LUXURY RECLINERS across the entire front of the building, perhaps start with the recliners. Between the dated seats, bad sound and premium prices, the sign outside was by far the most luxurious part of the experience.

My issue first tis that the staff really seems like they dont want to be there. They are rude and they do not have any communication skills. They had 2 lines when we got there and didnt communicate if one was tickets and 1 was concessions. It looked like 2 likes were open so when the customer in front of me got their items and left I moved up. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes with workers all over and no one coming over to me or asking me to move to the other like all the while the other line is moving and a ton of people behind me got their items before me. After the 5 mins I said something to a worker and they were very rude to me and said there was only 1 line open. I decided not to buy any concessions. The prices are the other issue. You used to get an unlimited refill popcorn bucket for $9 which already is a lot considering it cost them like 10 cents for that amount of popcorn but they aren't profiting enough already so they got rid of the bucket for a bag and now you get 1 refill. It was an annoying and bad experience.

The popcorn was a good size for a small and I could add my own butter. The nacho chips came in a bag and then i had to empty them into the box they gave me. Same thing with the cheese, it came in a little cup, but surprisingly it was warm. The theater room itself was clean which was nice. Something I really enjoy about coming here is the seating. I love how the chair can recline! I even realized that they have a warmer too.

However, after getting past that, I was excited to take advantage the discounted Tuesday tickets. I went to see Wicket: For Good, and the process of entering the theater, visiting concessions, and finding our seats was solid. The screen size was big and the volume of the movie was loud, but not excessive. I was also happy with the comfy reclining chairs. A couple of detractors included, 1- the reclining chairs were a little beat up; 2- there were a lot of commercials (in addition to some previews, which are welcome) shown before the movie, the lobby is small and there really wasn't much of a place to wait before entering the theater. Overall my experience was good. They have membership programs, which are definitiely a good value for frequent visitors. For an infrequent visitor, like myself, the Tuesday discount was perfect!

This was not a misunderstanding, and it was not taken lightly. A public-facing business choosing to include racist humor in its messaging is unacceptable. There is no place for that kind of content in a community venue meant to be welcoming to all. Ending our support is an easy decision, and one we feel fully confident in. We hope ownership understands the seriousness of this choice and takes responsibility for the impact it has on their patrons and the broader community.

The bartender said the owner was interested in opening the back to be a beer garden. That would be a great addition.

The theatre is beautiful and very clean. Everyone on staff is helpful and friendly. It is easy to get to in downtown High Point. A couple of negatives: my son, who is 9 had a hard time seeing because of the adults in front of us, so, you may want to keep that in mind if you have younger kids with you. We have had to change seats, or let him sit on his knees each time. Lastly, the parking. I am very grateful for the free parking that is a very short walk away. What is unfortunate about the parking lot is it is very secluded. I would never go without someone else with me. They do have a police officer at the theatre door, but the parking lot would be out of ear shot and cannot be seen because of the surrounding buildings.

Woods of Terror!! Definitely Worth the Experience!…read more We went on a Friday night.... We had an absolute blast at Woods of Terror! If you're planning to go, we highly recommend at least the Fast Pass, but we purchased the All Access Pass and thought it was worth the money. It also gives you access to later events beyond the haunted attraction, and the photo they take when you first enter is included. A couple things to know before you go: parking is $20 CASH, and bring cash with you because everything inside is cash only. You will also be required to sign a waiver. The "free gift" included with our pass was a sticker, which honestly wasn't very impressive. However, the $5 voucher was actually useful. About halfway through, there's a stopping area where you can grab a drink, use the porta-potties, sit down and regroup before continuing through the remaining houses. That break was appreciated! There's also live music playing when you enter the midway, which adds to the atmosphere. Now for the actual scares!!! LOTS of jump scares. And here's some advice from experience: whoever walks in front of your group is going to take the brunt of them! Some houses were meh, but others absolutely made up for it. The dinosaur area felt like a little cool-down for our group, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. There are also houses where you might discover that touching the walls isn't the greatest idea. I'm not telling you which ones. You'll find out. Then there's the 3D clown house. You put on 3D glasses and apparently it's an absolute trip. Everyone in my group who went through highly recommended it. I chose HELL NO. I hate clowns and have absolutely no regrets about that decision. PARENTS -- PAY ATTENTION TO THE "RATED R" HOUSE One attraction is clearly marked Rated R for language, nudity, etc. They are NOT kidding. The actor at the entrance was intense and completely in character -- right up in my face. At one point he told me I was beautiful, and my daughter immediately informed him that I could be his mother. His response? I'm not repeating it here. Let's just say it was completely consistent with the Rated R warning. So if you're bringing younger kids, understand that they may see or hear adult content in this particular attraction. The good news is that you can bypass that house, so families don't have to go through it. Overall, Woods of Terror was absolutely worth the money and the experience. We screamed, laughed our asses off, scared each other, and had a genuinely great night. We would definitely go again.
