I got delayed due to weather and needed a laundry service. I walked in and felt right at home. The business was clean and the staff was really Freindly. I dropped off my clothes at 8 for a wash & fold service and they were ready the same day. The lady remembered my name when I came back. What a cool little place! read more

I don't usually review places, but I had to leave a review for this laundromat. Normally, I absolutely dread going to the laundromat. Spin City has a TON of washers and driers, is SUPER clean, and has a cheerful color scheme. I left thinking, "I could go back there again and not dread it!" I tried using my credit card on the machine, but you need to get a laundromat card with money on it. Simple to get and load with credits, or you can use change. The woman that works there was very accessible, but gave people their space to do their laundry. I would definitely recommend this laundromat. read more

I've been a customer since 2004. Today may be the last time I use this place, though. When I first started using this laundromat, the place was clean and well-maintained and the costs were reasonable -- double-load washers were $1.25, and the dryers were 25 cents per 10 minutes. Now, the washers start at $2 and the dryers are down to 8 minutes per 25 cents. Also: the place is not as clean as it used to be. I've complained to the owner when there's mud tracked in all over the floors and dirt on the folding tables, but nothing much has changed. Now I just bring anti-bacterial wipes so I can wipe down the folding tables and laundry baskets before I use them. Believe me, I understand that some adjustments have to be made to offset the increased costs of water and electricity. And I know, the machines break and it's expensive to fix them immediately, so they stay out of commission for a while. I get that, even though I don't like it much. But today, I've found that Spin City's washers are now running on even less water. Is this an issue with the water utility in town? Or, as I suspect, perhaps the owner has tweaked the machines to use less water per load? Either way, I'm screwed: I just doubled my weekly laundry cost because I had to run ALL of my loads twice. The amount of sudsing I could see during the second wash and rinse (and I did not add detergent or softener during the second run) made it obvious that there wasn't enough water in the washers to sufficiently wash and rinse during the first run. If I hadn't already burned through my laundry money today (so far, I've spent $23 on just washing my clothes), I'd go ahead and run them through a third wash and rinse. Hmmm. Well, I guess I already have to go to the ATM to get more cash for the dryers....but it's ridiculous that I have to do that at all. I'm really sorry this place has gone so far downhill in trying to cut costs. But it has, and my only other option in town is Bubble Machine. Guess I'll give them my business next laundry day. read more

The lady on staff spent the entire hour or so that we were there on her phone. A couple of times she went outside to smoke. Nothing wrong with the equipment or the facility, but the staff literally stank. read more

Significantly more expensive than Bubble Machine, but better machines (digital timer, newer machines) and better environment. Easier to get to and with quieter customers and a more considerate environment and friendlier staff than bubble machine. The tables are nice, especially for students who want to work while they run laundry. good variety of sizes of machines. Need cash, though, and have to load money onto a card to use machines. Machine to add money to laundry cards only takes bills. read more
