The interior is a bit dark but hey it's a rock bar. It has these alternative hanging lamps made out of food cans. She probably got some hunches that we needed alcohol and we needed it now. Since she just opened the place, she lighted some candles to make "hygge" and gave us a bottle of sparkling water to share as well. When the cocktail came, I was floored by the amazing flavour. I had never been a huge fan of rum (I do love me some rum raisin ice cream and mojito, but that's it) but this cocktail was just nice - unfortunately I am not a poet and couldn't describe it in pretty words, but it was very delightful and refreshing to drink. Mina K's cocktail (Ryan's Apple) was very nice too, although I didn't like the cinnamonny taste - but that's just me, I don't like cinnamon that much. Apart from cocktails, they do have some very interesting beer from Mikkeller (duh!) after all, it's a Mikkeller bar. The huge plus side of this place is also the fact that it's walking distance from Nørreport st / Torvehallen. You could get something delicious from Torvehallen and then walk here for some "refreshment" (like we did after the wonderful tacos from Yuca Taco yesterday). It's far more convenient location than Mikkeller in Viktoriagade or the one in Stefansgade.... and it does serve both cocktails and beer, just in case you're not in the mood for the other. This is a well-lit, well-established watering hole, with plenty of space for large groups of people looking to get together with friends for adult beverages. While I haven't been here during the day, I imagine it's a great place to grab a cup of Joe and hang out. The scene on Saturday was very much segregated groups of people doing their own thing. It is missing the familiar intimacy of other places in Nørrebro late in the evening, and there wasn't much interaction going on between tables. A great place to go if you don't want to be bothered and just want to hang out with your friends.
