My note to the Doctor after an office visit:…read more I have cancelled my appointment with you for Oct 28, 2024. I have made an appointment with a general surgeon to have the epidermoid cyst removed. After your I&D there was no reduction in size and it is like I did not see you at all. Please send the results of the culture as soon as you get them. Sir, your bedside manner is non-existent. You lack compassion and you don't LISTEN to patient feedback. You administered 1% Xylocaine with Epinephrine. You did not wait even a minute before making an incision. The pain was severe. You minimized my complaint, telling me I was feeling "pressure" and not pain. Sir, I have had more procedures with local anesthesia than I can count. That includes oral surgery for a root extraction, bone graft and gum closure 4 weeks ago. Also Mohs S-plasty on June 18, 2024. I felt pressure but never pain. What I felt in your office was PAIN! Do not EVER dismiss a patient's feelings or feedback. I will have my other skin care needs attended to by a dermatologist in Florida when I get there. My advice to you, based on my experience and based on the comments left by other patients is to reassess what you do for a living, why you do it and if you cannot become more engaged, more empathetic and more communicative, stop practicing. Apparently you forgot why you went into medicine ... and it shows.

On April 9th I visited and was assessed a $40 copay (normal) along with an additional $40 "lab copay".. I questioned this charge but they assured me this wasn't something my insurance company would pay. The moment I left the office I called my insurance company which told me that they ABSOLUTELY do pay that lab copay. I've spent the last few weeks navigating the intricacies of their massive phone web - NEVER actually able to get ahold of anyone from that office directly because their inept, centralized billing department can't seem to find the time to pick up their phone. I want my money back and will NEVER use this company again

I've only had experience with Adara Mifsud, PA-C, and unfortunately, it was a negative one. She…read moremisdiagnosed my child and began treatment based on that incorrect diagnosis. From the start, her assessment didn't feel accurate, but I hesitated to question a medical professional. At the follow-up, I raised concerns, and only then was a biopsy sent out. She told us results would take two weeks, but I later learned that biopsies typically take under a week. When we didn't hear back, we had to call--only to find out she was on vacation, and we had to wait several more days. Given the size of the practice, someone else should have followed up. After weeks of unnecessary stress, we learned the correct diagnosis--something she never mentioned--and her treatment had been entirely unnecessary. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this practice and won't be returning. .

Upon entered RVC Pediatric's I felt safe - it's very clean and welcoming. I also was able to meet with a dr. and not an administrator in advance of my son being born. I met with Dr. Eskander for my informational and instantly liked her warmth and candor. Flash forward 2 months and we started bringing my little guy here. The practice has been MORE than safe with COVID. They have you wait in the car until they are ready and have different hours for sick and non-sick patients as well as newborns. We have always felt safe each time we have arrived. The dr.'s rotate which we are perfectly fine with. Dr's. Abrons, Eskander, and Shearer are all extremely smart, confident and know what they are doing. We are fine with any of them and have no issues. Further more, I like how you can contact them 24/7 with issues and they don't make you feel silly when you are potentially asking something that might come off as "dumb". They all seem to operate under it's better to be safe than sorry! Lastly, I like that we have had some zoom calls during the pandemic. My little fella got conjunctivitis when he was only a few months old. Dr. Abron's was able to diagnose it via zoom and call in a prescription that was deliverable by our pharmacy. This took so much anxiety out of everything when you are dealing with a 3 month old baby during the height of a pandemic. We are so very thankful for all of them and the lovely staff :)
