We were hunting for Smiskis and found only two boxes, which the staff had kindly set aside behind the counter -- they were super nice and helpful about it. Just a heads-up, there's a small upcharge if you pay with a card (which is becoming more common in the area). They have a pretty large Sanrio selection and some snacks and candies too. The store is clean, well-organized, and check-out was fast and easy. It's a little on the pricey side though. While I've heard they sometimes follow customers around to prevent shoplifting, that didn't happen to me, but I can see how it might feel awkward if you're browsing slowly or being indecisive. Still, the overall experience was pleasant, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're into cute collectibles or gifts.

The owners are the best and I love that it's a family run shop. Occasionally they'll have special events. My favorite has been Meet and Greet with Hello Kitty and Kuromi and also being invited to their special friends and family anniversary event.

This place was SO COOL! I live in Baltimore and I think what Reading Terminal Market is is what ALL…read morethe marketplaces in Baltimore strive to be...and are failing miserably. This place was HUGE. It went on for miles in all directions. There were tons of people filling all the space. It was tight in there. I had to use all my aggressive navigation skills to get around. I was also constantly rubber necking to take in all the food stalls and vendors. I could have spent an entire day there exploring and would have seen maybe a third of what's there. Unfortunately I was only in town for a day, so aside from quickly walking through, I stopped at a bar for a really good cider. Overall, excellent visit and I definitely want to go back!

The Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia is awesome. We ventured into downtown and wanted to…read morewander through the market to see what was available. As it turns out, everything is available. Cheeses, meats, donuts, ice cream, candies, desserts, coffee, and everything in between to include small rocks and crystals. Realistically you can spend a good 3-4 hours in this market alone. Wandering the aisles, ordering various food options from various vendors and then finding a seat to sit down and enjoy your food. That last part, finding a table to sit down and eat your food could be a bit tricky. When we first arrived at the market it was 9:30 a.m. and we were able to find a seat without much trouble. When we returned to the market for a second time, around 1:30 p.m. it was noticeably more packed inside and I had to do two loops before a table cleared up. There are so many vendors inside you really can't even come close to trying them all in one visit. I would like to come back and try some more places next time. As for parking, I was told to park at the Convention Center parking structure, but when I arrived there was a large sign stating that parking was full. I ended up finding a public parking lot at Commerce & N. 13th St which I parked at, but after 4 hours or so I think it cost me about $50. To be expected, unfortunately, for big city parking.

With the pandemic, I don't know if this event runs any more…read more My friend V. loves thrift shops and what she calls 'treasure hunting.' Having grown up poor and being forced to wear way too big, tooth achingly ugly winter coats from Goodwill that I'd 'grow into,' hideous polyester button down shirts that a pimp wouldn't touch, scratchy, pill-y wool sweaters reeking of camphor, high water generic blue jeans and summer shorts I would not put on a dog in a clown show, I assiduously avoid things like this. V. was insistent that I would 'go wild' over this flea market because 'it won't be like anything else you've ever been to!!!' I had my doubts about that but you make concessions for friends. We paid our $3 entrance fee and strolled around. Most of the vendor tables had things that were of no interest to me; old playing cards, glassware that was (presumably) collectible, vintage tattoo flash, old silver plate and older, tarnished sterling silver tableware, racks of *shudder* vintage clothing and shoes, most of which had seen better days. There were some well curated tables of antique jewelry and antique beaded bags at very non-bargain prices and a few tables of what I can only call culled pieces from cabinets of curiosities-moth eaten taxidermied items and non-p.c. tourist trash. For the most part, the vendors we encountered were bored seeming or down right rude. The people watching was far better than anything for sale. After 2 hours here, V. bought a very large, ornate dusty rose colored tassel. I asked what she planned to do with it. Her response? 'Do you want it, Warren?' Uhh-that would be NO. I bought nothing. V. wanted to take another spin around the place so I opted to go out to her car to sit and read, telling her to take her time. Another 2 hours passed. She returned empty handed, other than the tassel, to the car. Would I go back? Nope. Should you go if the flea market opens again? It's $3 and maybe an hour or 2 out of your life. You could spend that time and money in worse ways.

From the moment I walked in I personally was a little overwhelmed. The name Nordstrom leads me to expect a certain vibe, this did not hit that. The shoe area is a good size, but tiny aisles. It was pretty organized. There is some areas to sit, but not enough. There were people sitting on the floor. There were many racks throughout. There is lots of departments like kids, mens, womens, shoes, bags, suitcases and much more. There is a lot to sift through. The pricing was in my opinion a little high. I can find items one sale, cheaper especially with a coupon. I am sure I made a face at some of the pricing like, "Um really. You want that much for that?" The staff were ok. I had one who tried to help, but he was new so he was unsure on the answer. I ended up not staying too long. I was just there for shoes, and walked out empty handed.
