Fresh as can be, cilantro, basil, thyme, parsley, the list goes on. They also have fresh organic cucumbers there for two dollars. They taste awesome. We usually buy a few of these. The staff working at the market is great, friendly, and full of knowledge of the herbs, they also have a few great recipes they share. Stop buy their table. There is also homemade pesto sauce, which is over the top!

I don't know - I'm still going. Their fresh herbs are heavenly, accompanied with their plump little tomatoes and you have a combination perfect for a summer picnic in the yard. You can get a large variety of wilt-free herbs, along with other seasonal veggies that they may just so happen to be harvesting. The couple who run the stand are sweet and quick, getting you your goodies in no time flat. IMPORTANT! They sell out of some stuff first thing in the morning. If you need basil, get there early because there's no guarantee it will be there past noon. Fresh herbs are a million times better than dried ones - and that's a fact. Head on down to the RiverView table and challenge me, if you dare.

But this is more than a grocery store, it's also features a delicious cafe! Some days I just crave a smoothie or a fresh juice and I know the Earth Market has me covered! Will say it's a little pricey but I find that's typical for any non-big box grocery store.

I often find the price of same products that you can find at regular store much higher there. You will find other things that I have only seen there. There is a problem that is hard to find prices and sometimes they don't match the product on the shelf. I have bought flour at bulk section that was rancid. So now, I only buy products I know that rotate. There is one thing that is bothering me for a while and I hope they change it soon. Regular grocery stores are trying to ban the plastic bag, today I saw them offering not only the grocery bag made out of plastic but they put fliers inside each one of them. Is this store called organic just for profit or there is a philosophy behind? Please use paper bags instead and encourage less trash, no fliers and paper bags for bulk section.

There's a little shop to the left when you enter & that's where you buy your $5 admission to the garden. I recommend you do your garden stroll first before buying things so you can appreciate what they sell, but also so that you don't have to lug it around with you. It's a well mapped garden with lots of greenery and later in the summer they open a little cottage inside the garden serving rose and herbal mint chocolate ice cream. They also do high teas, but we were a week too early for their opening dates for that. The garden itself is thriving & there are so many nice places to take pictures while you stroll. I'd recommend bug spray & sunscreen depending on the weather. It's also good that they give you a map with your admission. The herb gardens are abundant and you can smell them as you walk. They actually have a section for wedding parties as well. Back in the shop is a great assortment of herbal jellies and liqueurs made from herbs harvested from the gardens. The ice creams are also available in there too, and washroom is upstairs where you pass by the workshop where they make the wooden packaging for the gift sets. The lady at the counter is absolutely wonderful, and great at recommending flavours as well as giving generous little samples on crackers. She even let us sample a hidden gem there which was blueberry balsamic vinegar, aged about 3 years which was quite lovely. As a tourist, this was a lovely experience & I'd highly recommend visiting!

I understand that due to weather stores close early but to close 20 minutes early gives off vibes that this employee just wanted to go home and it was not a weather factor, especially considering the snow fall was not even bad.
