We have even started to go down through the menu until we have all tried everything (still a long way to go though). What I like about Yum Yums is that the main meals are split into 2 categories. You choose a 'Yummy' which is basically the bulk of your main, i.e. beef, chicken duck etc. Then a 'Yum' which is like the sauce, topped of with either a portion of boiled/fried rice, Chips, or Half/Half (half chips half rice). The food there is well made and delicious albeit not particularly cheap (damn you Southport) and the staff there are friendly and will happily talk with you for hours about good Turkish footballers (believe me; it happens every week when we go). They also have a punching machine in there (perhaps to curb the violent enthusiasm of the Southport residents) which causes much hilarity at three in the morning when my mates decide to show each other who can hit something the hardest. Recently it sported a very interesting (?) display of red pop bottles at the counter - not sure quite what that was about, but I had noticed it and others around me were commenting on it to - maybe the refurbishment budget hadn't quite stretched as far as they had hoped and they'd had to resort to something extra cheap and cheerful! The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is a very good standard, far better than most chinese takeaways I've been to but I think that's due to it being a restaurant too which pushes the standard higher. This is a popular place on a weekend so if you're eating in it's probably a good idea to book a table, if you can't get booked in then just order a takeaway. The only downside is they don't do delivery as they are very busy so you have to get it yourself.

The last 4 times I have been has been drive through ( a month apart thereabouts ) I have had to park up and wait for over 10 minutes for simple orders. 3 of these occasions they got my order wrong. Last time they wanted me to go round the drive through again and order what they had missed out again. I refused !
