One of the primary reasons for this, is due to the staff. As isoften the case, the people that latch on to the company like leeches are the ones who are often the worst. The people here do NOT seem happy in the slightest to be doing their jobs. The Clerical side in particular, is run by a woman who hates seems to hate existing as much as she will hate you. Often using terms such as "these people" when referring to African American visitors. They also tend to make fun of the people who come in, whether it's their appearance, their grammar, or any other aspect of you that doesn't prove to be profitable for them. They also are not looking to HELP you, they are looking to fill jobs based on their contracts. I can't speak for the industrial side, but the administrative side is a nightmare. No one here will want to help you or see you thrive, they just want to fill their quota and go home. Try elsewhere for your own well-being.

During my "interview" she asked me what my major was, and when I responded (Computer Science) she said "good luck with that in Augusta." She also accused me of not actively looking for work (while I'm in her office specifically looking for work). It's not like I'm collecting unemployment. It's hard to describe the vibe of the "interview" adequately here, but it really felt like I had just walked in to trap. After I left I was so disgruntled and demoralized that I had to do a little digging online. I knew there had to be a reason she was being so rude to me. It turns out she is friends with my most recent employer (we ended on bad terms because she was stealing from the company and I tried to turn her in) and Ashley never had any interest in helping me find a job. Not only is she completely unaware of the growing IT/CS market in her own city, but she let her personal life affect her professional life. Fail.

Receptionist has attitude and doesn't pay attention. Always on her phone. Also don't speak up when talking.. have to repeat yourself several times. I don't know how this is still an establishment of employment trying to help others get a job but they are horrible. Loud and unprofessional. It's only good for Industrial work because they clearly can't support any professional companies with the level of unprofessional they carry.
