They not only ordered and put a new side door with a new mirror they touched up all the scratches on every part of the car and no more dents throughout the car and did not overcharge the price they quoted. I had a very disappointing experience with CARSTAR Brantford…read more Initially, I brought my vehicle in for a minor paint repair. When I picked it up, I noticed that the edges of the door had not been painted properly. After I brought this to their attention, I was told there were no available slots and was booked for a follow-up appointment a week later. On the day of the second appointment, I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and was provided with a rental car. When I returned in the evening, I was shocked to see that the repair appeared to have been done with a manual brush rather than being professionally refinished. The quality of the work was unacceptable. They acknowledged the issue and scheduled yet another appointment for the second week of June. For the third visit, I was again given a rental vehicle and told the repair would only take a couple of hours. Around 3:30 PM, I called to check the status and was told the vehicle would be ready by 5:00 PM. When I arrived at 5:00 PM, I was informed that the work had not even been completed. I had to leave without my vehicle and was later told it would be ready the following day at noon. Unfortunately, when I returned the next day, the paint work was still not up to an acceptable standard. What concerns me most is the apparent lack of any quality assurance or final inspection process before vehicles are returned to customers. Had someone properly inspected the work, these issues should have been identified and corrected before delivery. I was also disappointed with the communication and overall management of my repair. The representative handling my vehicle never clearly explained why the work needed to be redone multiple times or why the promised completion times were missed. After multiple appointments, repeated inconvenience, and several opportunities to correct the issue, I am still not satisfied with the quality of the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location due to poor workmanship, lack of quality control, and unprofessional customer service.

This article alone and the fact that corrosion free does not require drilled holes for application especially on my new car was the deal sealer. Here's why holes are no longer needed - http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hAmosX6MTOs. Kim Telouni did a great job for the corrosion free application. Initially he recommended drilling but I showed him areas on the Odyssey which can easily be entry points for the wand that they use. There are a lot of factory holes for any new vehicles. I would recommend you to take your time as well to check your car once it's done as you may notice some weather striping not being seated properly although it may happen temporarily due to the compound that is applied but not an issue as they easily snap back. Be aware that some of your door panels or tailgate may have popped as they have to go in between them to apply. Just snap them back in. They may also tell you not to wash the car although the corrosion free website does say you can. I still did not since I was too lazy. All in all I was pretty happy with the result and will be coming back here again. In fact, I'm again at the shop having my VW Golf 2012 rust proofed since I don't believe VW's 12 year anti-corrosion warranty works in Waterloo, ON due to the salts we use during winter. I had a Passat B6 2008 that was manufactured out of Germany but it rusted on the wheel well and tailgate. See this article - http://www.corroding-volkswagens.com/new-page-4/.
