This station was great because the gas prices were reasonable for the area, the convenience store was well stocked and large, and this location had a Subway restaurant as well as a Dunkin' Donuts. It's near my mom's house; and I could get my CVS points ( I love coupons!). Wow, was this different than the CVS near my house in El Cajon -- I initially thought the clerks (2 of them, both late teens) were conducting a transaction with another young woman of approximately the same age. Nope! Not at all. They were socializing and discussing when their paychecks would be available. Not only that, while I stood in line waiting for them to tie this up, I got to hear about a compelling range of topics including: one clerk's scratch and sniff panties (I swear I am not making this up); another girl they went/go to high school with who has VD; and whether or not this same said girl participates in certain acts of non-traditional intimacy. Now, I'm not a prude by any means, but really??!!! Seriously!!!???? I'm going to stand in line for 5 minutes while you discuss this within hearing of customers (that you are ignoring as you socialize with an off-duty co-worker). One of the girls must have finally felt the poison daggers my eyes were sending her, because she grudgingly opened a register. I'm only giving them 2 stars because, as Mike R. noted, they're convenient. Hopefully the management sees this and has a chatty with his late teen/early 20's female clerks, because this wasn't appropriate in any way, shape or form.
