I love that this shop is located in the heart of Downtown Gallup. Gallup Coffee Company is surrounded by mural, art galleries and a movie theatre. There is plenty of free parking on the side of the road. Gallup Coffee Company roasts their own beans. You can buy their bags of their coffee beans at the café and online. In addition to their coffee menu, they sell bagels, muffins and pastries. The shop itself is actually very spacious with a few spaces to hang out in. They have some comfy couches out in the front of the shop and enjoy people watching through the windows. Service has always been great for us here. We usually get the same barista and he has always been awesome. We are basic latte and cappuccino type of people. We love the coffee drinks and community here and will always make a stop here if we are in the area.

This Starbucks is located inside the of the grocery store. It was nice to find this Starbucks because there are not a lot of coffee options on the reservation. We headed that way and the building is pretty small, looks like it used to be something like a Tasty Freeze maybe. When you open the door, the sweetness just flows out to you! There were a couple of racks of fresh donuts and cookies that were cooling. There were lots of freshly baked bread they use for the sandwich shop. We ended up getting an eclair, a chocolate twist, a donut and the fritter, and you can't have donuts without milks! We only paid $13 for everything, which was well worth it. They aren't open 24/7 right now, but we were talking with the owner and he said he comes in about 2 o'clock to start making bread for the sandwich shop. We told him we were going to be on the road at 3 and the cinnamon rolls looked fantastic. He wanted us to stop by and knock on the door so he could let us in! I was only able to take one photo, but everything was over the top! If you are anywhere within 50 miles of this Route 66 gem stone, you have to run by! You'll be glad you did!

I was trying to do some small talk and said "do you get a lot tourists here", the answer was "how is that your concern?"... I have no idea why I didn't just walk out and left her in there to drink whatever she was making.... I left the 50 cents change on the counter, she goes "I don't need it"... I mean, I was speechless. I live in Chinle and there are not many places where you can just go and hang out... Heck, there are a few fast food and the two restaurants adjacent to three hotels in the area! I wanted to like this place: the name is cool, the reviews were decent, it sounds like it's ran but a woman, I wanted to give my money to a local business...
