The woman running the counter was crushing it by herself. My only complaint was not enough food options (they only had breakfast sandwiches and I think they were out of turkey sausage. Although, it would be a lot of work to do food and coffee. The baked goods looked nice. Maybe they could team up with the Italian restaurant next door? Will have to come back for a latte again. It's kind of smaller inside than we expected, but we made it work. A little ambient music in the back was perfect, and not too loud! Got to sit by the coffee roaster. Maybe they could make better use of the space somehow?

A delightful surprise that goes to show the quality of craftsmanship and knowledge that goes into the drinks here at Covered Bridge. I can't admit I'm any sort of coffee snob, I don't drink it black or hot, but as much as I enjoy my insanely sweet lattes, this reminded me of why I drink coffee in the first place. The flavor is robust and deep even through the creaminess of the milk, and the sweetness is subtler than I'm used to. Both were not just served but presented beautifully on wooden boards. We had to try the Syrniki and were delighted.
