While I don't drink coffee, I was purchasing nine pounds of coffee (it's a stocking stuffer in our family) for other people. It seems like Union Place typically has an excellent and varied selection of different beans, but it was too close to Christmas and they were running low on it all. My friend came out from behind the counter, and helped my navigate what was still available. I got a lot of beans, they ground them for me for the right filters (while I sat in a very comfortable chair), and I was out of there. If you actually drink coffee, I bet you'll like this place even better than I do.

There is a parking lot located conveniently behind the building. The seasonal drink choices were fun. I chose the lake breeze. I was able to remove the coconut. They were happy to do this and just let me know it might take a moment longer to make. The wait was not long at all and the drink was delicious. The dried yuzu was a nice touch. I was so happy to finally visit and will be back.

There isn't a lot of seating and the space is a bit small. It seems to be situated best for small groups to sit around a small table and talk. It's the perfect place to sit and catch up with a friend, but I probably wouldn't study here. Again, a super cute vibe. I got the newly famous Breakfast in Vermont latte, and it was delicious. The other drinks looked great too, so I'd love to try them in the future.

I saw a few clumps of what I think was thin melted orange cheese with I guess thin bacon crumbles. The most off putting thing about the potatoes was an odd unpleasant taste which I attribute to whatever oil they were cooked or coated in. Whatever it was left a chemical kind of taste in my mouth. On a different note, while the decor is charming, the chairs are uncomfortable. Altogether it was a disappointing experience. My sister spoke to the manager, after we finished, and he offered a replacement for the potatoes but she declined.
