So for this Gulf. It's tiny, tucked off the street quiet gas station. The prices here for a gallon of gas are comparable to other gas stations around the area. I went inside to buy a couple bottles of water a snack for my ride and the gentleman behind the counter greeted me and was friendly. There was also a younger lady working there who was stocking items and she said hi and asked if she could help with finding anything. I paid for my items, filled up my tank and left. It was a Saturday late afternoon so I was the only person there. Overall it was fine, as I said it's a gas station so giving it 5 or even 4 stars would require a lot.

I was working in the historic village of Pawtuxet, so I had two general options: either snacks from an old gas station, or lunch from an upscale bar or cafe. Limited time and money meant the first option. So, I settled on this Gulf gas station, with its very small convenience store, in downtown Pawtuxet. This is a place that time forgot. It was like I entered a time machine set to 1974 when I walked in. The place had an old, stale smell, that not even the Dunkin' Donuts Express inside could mask ... not that this Dunkin' was very busy. The young woman at the Dunkin' counter was like the female version of the Maytag repairman from the '70s commercials, with nothing to do, standing with her hands resting on the counter. There were no pre-made sandwiches in the convenience store (and I hate Dunkin's sandwiches), so I had to settle for peanut butter crackers and Little Debbie cinnamon swirls for my 'lunch'. This was not exactly the kind of 'power lunch' for when you have to remove a lot of cast iron from an old house, but hey, I had no choice. The selection of drinks and snacks is very limited here. Also, my coworker asked me to get him a candy bar here. When he ate it, he reported it was a bit stale. A sign on the front door states there are no public bathrooms at this store, period. I counted six gas pumps, and the price for regular unleaded seemed high. The parking lot is about as small as the store. Unless you live in the neighborhood and it's an easy walk here for lottery tickets and smokes, there's probably no reason to come here ... unless you like that '70s feel.

They have a good selection of stuff in here from food , drinks , lottery , keno , smoke products and more. They have a little bit of everything. This place gets packed for being a corner store. The lot is big enough that you have a spot it's just a very busy spot. The prices are regular for a corner store , and it's located down the street from me so it's very close and we come here often. If you're around or need anything stop in here you will get all you need.

A older women waiting in line for her turn gets yelled at by the clerk in front of her manger telling the lady not to stair! She was simply waiting her turn looming about at products in the store behind and on the counter seeing as there is such a selection. First of I was thrown of the manger said nothing secondly after the lady left the store and I said something to the manger how shocked I was he did nothing he sat there with a lost expression while his cashier again chirped in with her view on the matter yelling as I exited the store still with a lost expression on mangers face. Customers come first always and yes there was a slow down with the shift change you simply address your guest with "I'm so sorry it will be just a few more minutes longer."

The employees at this Dunkin' are always friendly. The store - which not only looks clean, but has a nice, clean smell - has two bathrooms, and has a decent assortment of drinks and snacks. It looks like they recently added some frozen food coolers. There's not much parking in front of the store, but they do have a large number of gas pumps. Note that they do charge a higher price if you use a card instead of cash to buy gas (it's not a deal-breaker for me since I almost always use cash to buy gas). Because the store is close to the intersection of Tiogue Avenue and Hopkins Hill Road, pulling out can be somewhat difficult sometimes, but not as bad as pulling out of the Cumberland Farms just up the street on Tiogue Avenue.

The store is much smaller than most Stop and Shops in the area. This space was formerly another…read moregrocery store and Stop and Shop did minimal work when they moved in so it's pretty worn out and run down in places. There's cracked tile floors, dingy lighting, and leaking refrigerated cases (the frozen seafood case has been emptied, defrosted, and restocked multiple times since I have been a customer here.) They stock all the must need daily items that you would run in for but because of its smaller size, they have condensed department offerings throughout the store so don't expect to find specific one off items that you are looking for. (For example, they don't stock our preferred brand of shampoo here, or the laundry spray we use, or even the pet supplies we frequently buy - even though the Stop and Shop in East Providence, Pawtucket, and the other location in Seekonk does) This Stop and Shop is very convenient if you live close by as there are not many competitors in the area. They frequently hold "yard sales" and fundraisers to support organizations in the community and I think that's a really nice gesture. The bakery, produce, and deli teams have all been great to interact with - very friendly and helpful. The front end crew is really hit or miss and seems to be a mixture of young folks who lack professional maturity and older folks who are generally grumpy.

They do have an air pump, which is becoming less common. The market is small and has a pretty standard array of items. There is ice machine conveniently located outside the front door, so you can get it into your car.

The hours are good, I believe they're open until midnight, most nights... they offer a bit of everything; household cleaning products, toiletries, non-perishable foods, snacks, ice cream, milk, eggs, etc. While you're buying a pack of smokes, you can also pick up a bootleg DVD or a bong. My only complaint is that it's a little stinky in here. It smells... stale. Oh plus... parking can be a pain in the butt sometimes, as well as trying to get in and out of the lot; it's really quite small. Also, I'm not sure how much longer this place is going to be around because rumor has it that a TD Bank is taking over this little plaza within the next couple of years. It's so heartbreaking to see the little mom and pop shops being ruined by "the man."

- went to this gas station and tried using my credit card at the pump. it did not work…read more- went inside and gave credit card to attendant and specifically requested $10.00 worth if gas - They did not say anything about charging $40.00 instead of the $10.00 that was requested. - went outside and pumped $10.00 worth of gas and left - came home and checked my bank account and this gas station charged me $40.00 - called the gas station and was told that they charge $40.00 by default when a customer comes inside to charge their gas regardless of what the customer requested and they don't bother to tell the customer. - now have to dispute this transaction with my bank. they said they the credit card should be cancelled and a new one issued to be safe. - very deceptive business practices. would not recommend anyone to go there.

The gas prices are competitive with neighboring stations, so they're not overpriced. The convenient store is stocked well and has the essentials. Very clean inside as well - and as I said the bathrooms amazingly clean - as well as friendly service.
