I was trying to finish and get on with our long trip home to hear her yell for us to come back and flush the toilet!! I didn't even realize he didn't flush so we did but when I thought about it I was upset because she was waiting at the door for us to finish in the bathroom. To check and see what we were up to. I even thought about not buying anything there. Then when she was checking us out she had an earbud in and was speaking to someone else in another language. We usually stop here and the man and son are very nice but unfortunately won't be coming back.

Mike's is an odd little shop in Morganton that looks to be a couple pump islands short of a full load, not really sure of how the traffic pattern flowed but maybe it was custom for specialty fuels or something. anyway it's easy in and easy out now and its got a canopy overhead for when weather happens. inside is pretty normal: the usual stuff in the usual way with select hot foods and cool beverages and clean restrooms so make an effort and don't muck it up for the next person.

We're closed!" Some web sites give a midnight closing tine, others an 11:00 pm closing and the employees close whenever they d*mn well please. 10:00, 10:15, 10:40, whatever suits them but they're **NEVER** open by their specified times. I will drive to Hickory or Lenoir to buy a Snickers bar before I'd buy one here ever again. There cannot be any sorrier customer service or business practices.

Ran out of gas on my way home, and stopped into this place for a gas jug. The price on the jug said…read more"$6:99" but after looking at the receipt I noticed they charged me $17. Then I noticed there was a "1" written on the side of the jug with a pencil next to the price tag. This is highway robbery! I asked for a refund and the owner was not around. I asked the man behind the counter what his managers name was and he replied "I don't know." So I filled up my gas tank elsewhere. Shame on the owner for ripping people off. Don't give this place your business!

The gas station from outside seemed like it may be small, with few options to pick inside as…read moresnacks. However, being right off of the interstate, I stopped to make it easy to find my way back. The store was very clean, very well stocked with typical convenient store items and also the staff was very nice. I was able to get snacks, drinks and pump gas to be back on the road in 10 minutes! The gas was also a great price and not to mention the bathrooms were clean. It has a great location being beside the interstate and also several restaurants literally in view so you have many options including a hotel if you need more than gas or snacks. I was pleasantly surprised and glad I chose to stop and will keep this location in mind next time coming through the area!
