The coffee here is always fresh and is kept warm in the pump style carafe's as opposed to the glass coffee pots that tend to burn the coffee if it should sit for more than 10 minutes. Aside from the coffee and such they also have a nearly full service deli where you can pick up a sandwich and an array of breakfast sandwiches that are freshly made and not in some wrappers. Actually their egg sandwiches are quite good. As for their gas portion the prices are reflective of the over inflation that we'll be paying at the pumps but that's for another forum to be vented. The parking here is ample and the inside and out are kept clean. Overall a reliable spot for coffee and some gas.

AND - after regularly coming here the attendant told me I should get a "frequent coffee card", or whatever its called. Every six cups of coffee, I get a free one. AND he punched my card for the coffees I had all week. AND they give you a free bottle of water with a large coffee (which I don't drink, its that cheap-o weird spring water, I just save it in my fridge for guests.) Did I mention they have a great coffee bar? My morning gym companions are a lot happier now that I come here first. Oh, I think you can get gas here, but its a little pricey. Go a half mile up the block to hess and you won't have to pay an addition 10 cents a gallon when you use your debit card.

I love new businesses. On this day after Christmas, it's the busiest travel day of the year. This Busy Bee is all ready with pots of fresh hot free coffee to accommodate the crowds. All nice and new, this Valero was decked out with colorful bunting. It was fun to pull over and check out the new store. Welcome to the neighborhood. In the planning for 9 years, we can finally say. It's great to have you a part of the community. Wow! What a beautifully clean modern facility this new store is. Everyone in the area has to come down and check the new place out and say hi! I was greeted at this newly opened gas station with FREE chock fulla nuts coffee and a really friendly and welcoming employee. I love chockfulla nuts, free coffee on a cold morning really makes me a Busy Bee fan. The new gas pumps here were state of the art, it was really cool to check out and see what their capabilities were. The brand new pumps filled the gasoline up quickly so I didn't have to stand outside a long time in the cold. Even better. My car loves High test and it was just $2.79. Nice ! A big canopy over the entire gas terminal protects you from the nasty weather that's the best of all. Busy Bee corp is professional operation associated with some of their most innovative and customer friendly stores. I like patronizing this organization and have also visited their corporate store on Wellwood Avenue. You can get just about anything you need to Grab & Go here. Chips, candy, drinks, water, Donuts, newspapers, auto needs & more in their nice big brightly lit store. Their beer selection puts 711 to bed. Can't wait to stop back again.. Like tomorrow when I need more free hot coffee and cheap high test gas.. See you soon.

I'm talking oil change, maybe fixing a flat, inspections...things like that. WELL. I brought my car to this mobil last year (I got this car in 2011 and between purchase and 2013, I think I put about 7,000 miles on the car, total. I don't drive a lot) for an inspection. The guy calls me and tells me I need new brakes. I think "well, thats odd" but I tell him to go ahead and take care of it - in the event I need to drive longer distances or anything like that, at least I know my car is in good working condition. Plus, I needed my inspection done. I bring my car back to these guys last week (and I had gotten an oil change two weeks before, but to this point, I had driven 3,800 miles over the full calendar year. How do I know? I looked at the mileage on my inspection sticker from last year and where I was at) for my inspection, drop it off, come home...I get a call. Apparently...I need new brakes again! So, I say "how is that possible?" and he says "well, they're all rusted and worn down" and I said "no, I mean, how is it possible that I need new brakes when I got brakes last year, and I barely drive?" and he goes "Maybe they didn't do a good job or replace anything" ::awkward pause:: Me: "You guys did the work last year" Mechanic: "What?" Me: "yes. You did the work last year. The reciept is in my glove box" ::awkward pause:: Mechanic: "I'm going to have to check this out and I'll get back to you" I get another call twenty minutes later..."So...you dont need new brakes" cmon guy. I know I'm a chic, but if you're gona try and screw someone, at least do your research. Also - their prices blow. Gas wise...go up the block to long beach road and go to Hess, you'll save about 15cents on the gallon. These guys charge you credit prices for debit cards, which makes me crazy and their cash price is still over priced.
