This is my first visit at this particular location and I would like to say that this location is quite similar to the other one/s I visited! I left out two stars out because: 1: They had the Smartfood white cheddar popcorn on sale (that's some good popcorn by the way) but they put the wrong size in the wrong area so I had to go to customer service and get it straight but I will say they made it right!. 2: The escalator was broken on the way down!.

They don't have that much of variety (when i came there they were out of avocados) but what they do have is always fresh and cheap. The stuff is also very friendly and nice. I highly recommend this place for fresh fruits and vegetables!

Despite so many horrific reviews about this Walmart location, I must say that I had a pleasant…read moreexperience. I was here recently to pickup an online order for the infamous Patti LaBelle Sweet Potato Pie (Family Size). Although I scheduled a curbside pickup, I was on-foot so I had to go inside the store to pick up my order. Once inside, it was noticeable and understandably busy due to Thanksgiving being the next day. The area for pickup was on the right side as soon as you enter the Walmart so there was no need for me to venture far into the store. I had to wait about ten minutes for an employee to come out with my item. While waiting, I interacted with a couple of the employees about their thoughts on the pie and a recent concert in NJ that I attended & so did the employee. I can see myself coming back to this Walmart location but it will strictly be to pick an online order.

The positive…read more Walmart is still my favorite place to grocery shop in the Bayonne area. It offers all the essential grocery items, decent produce and, most importantly, the best prices. They also offer electronics, car accessories and many other things. My tip is for you to check their website for in-store items and once you get there you know what aisle to go to. (Costco should learn this from Walmart!) Furthermore, there's always plenty of free parking. What could be improved? Well, first of all 4 out of 5 shopping carts have some type of problem. Either their wheels are stuck or another similar issue. (Now Walmart should learn from Costco's smooth carts!) Also, they no longer offer self checkouts, so those old self check out machines became 15 items or less cashiers. But with 4 machines being reserved (aka"wasted" ) for Walmart plus members (you rarely see one) the lines are each time longer.

That was my first day in New Jersey and I was happy to browse through things at this supermarket. Everything you need is here. The produce is very fresh. We bought some clams, snails, octopus, salmon to make a hot pot, and when we wanted to have a few more snails, they opened the bag and put some more in without weighing it again. The staff was so friendly and nice. They helped me find everything I was looking for. The watercress and vegetables were fresh. I bought some sweet potatoes and casavas which were both so delicious when I steamed them. They displayed everything so neatly here. The only suggestion I have is to please raise the temperature in the supermarket a few degrees. It was freezing cold. Other than that, all good. Thanks to this supermarket, my friend and I had a delicious steaming boat as our first dinner at this Airbnb in Elizabeth city.
