I have been back numerous times to try their vast menu of waffle choices and coffee. The small cafe is always bustling with visitors on the weekend - if you are looking to dine in, arrive early or be prepared to wait for a seat. I highly recommend for anyone to check out! The matcha is also amazing and made authentically, which you can really taste in the quality. They clearly take a lot of pride in how their drinks are prepared. You can sit at traditional tea tables on tatami mats, shoes off, which adds to the whole experience and makes it feel very intentional and relaxing. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.
