First and foremost I'd like to say I am boycotting this business, this place isn't getting a penny…read morefrom me after the horrific acts of the employees denying a disabled person access to the store WITH the consent of their boss. MDCR Q13 states: "No. The ADA does not require any specific identification, color, or vest for trained service animals. Individuals who have been required to obtain service animal identification or register their service animal report this to the Michigan Department of Civil Rights" Therefore I will not be supporting such a "business" than can conclude of such behavior because me, myself I have a service animal and I too would be denied just because staff is uneducated. and MAYBE I'll change my mind if THE OWNER and EMPLOYEES make a statement apologizing for their insubordination. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), individuals with disabilities have the right to be accompanied by their service animals in all public spaces, including businesses, restaurants, hotels, and public transportation. Denying access or services to a person with a service animal is a violation of federal law and can result in legal consequences. Service animals are trained to perform specific tasks to assist individuals with disabilities, and they are not considered pets. It is essential to recognize and respect the role of service animals in supporting individuals with disabilities and to provide equal access and opportunities. Overall experience is -100000/10 because staff lacks human decency
