Review #489 Saturday - 8/31/2024 Stop In & Back Out On Your Speedy Way! :-) This Busy Speedway location is in Barkeyville, Pennsylvania off exit of I-80 near Route 8. I always make a quick stop here to top off tank after leaving cousins house 3 hours before and use my Speedway card. Travelers and residents as well stop here all day long and probably at night too for a gas fill up, coffee caffeine, grab and go hot or cold food intake, snacks, beverages, clothing, candy and soooo much more! My photos show it all inside and outside with propane, camp firewood. There are many gas pumps with trash cans at each two station areas. The staff inside was friendly when I had to stop in for a gas receipt since the machine outside at the pump was out of paper. She apologized and told another helper employee to refill the roll promptly. :-) There was a sign that I forgot to snap a photo of that this Speedway has been remodeled and has a back area for truckers since its near the freeway. Exit off I-80 to Clarion Pennsylvania. Thanks to this Speedway for being here for a fuel fill to get Me back on the road from PA cruising to Ohio Turnpike then back to Michigan ! This speedway location is brand new as of this year. I have seen the progression and it feels like it's been here forever since patrons continually are in and out.. it's definite a must needed necessity in the area. Conveniently located off the Barkeyville exit of I-80 - its easy on and off. If are in the area or perhaps heading to Clarion, Corsica or Cook Forest etc. I love listening to the weather or news while I am at the gas pump. Great convenience store with every item you can possibly want.. even sunglasses that are stylish too. Ok it's similar to Sheetz but Speedway just seems to have so much more. ATM located inside and there is no service fee to use!(well with my bank there was no charge). Speedy awards available (similar to giant eagle advantage cards) This store has everything I need and always a pleasant visit. Thanks Speedway read more

5 stars for the location, all the pumps, tons of beverage & snack options. Big area even to sit and eat if you need to. However, 1 star for the bathroom. I didn't go in but my daughters did. 2 inches of space between the door for peeps to look in. That is something that should be fixed today! Seriously! We enjoy speedy rewards which helps with our loyalty to the brand. This speedway location is quick & easy off I-80, just avoid the bathroom if you can. read more

While in the area visiting for three days there was a sign no bathrooms. This rest gas stop---doesn't let you use the bathroom. DO NOT Patronize!!!! Where do the employees go to the bathroom?? read more

How do you run a gas station off the highway and have both bathrooms broken? How hard is it to call a plumber and get at least one bathroom working? So they did have some water and Red Bull to keep me hydrated down I-80 but I didn't feel like sticking around to see what else is broken down here, I needed to use the bathroom and their best recommendation was the Burger King across the street. Disappointing to say the least! read more

Restrooms have been closed at least 6 weeks. I've driven through there 4 times this summer to visit family & will never stop here again. Seems like they just don't want customers to use the facilities. Go somewhere else for gas & snacks while traveling. read more

I visited this Speedway for a quick stop while traveling between NY and MI. This location is your standard Speedway, with pumps, a convenience store and bathrooms. The convenience store is filled with snacks and drinks, so it's worth checking-out if you want a bite. The bathrooms are a little sketchy, so you'll want to double-check before using them. Overall, this is your standard Speedway that's a good choice if you need gas, snacks, or a bathroom break (or all of the above!) read more

I'm a traveler. Just while sitting here for five minutes I've witnessed at least seven people either come out of the store or walk in without a mask. It is a law in Pennsylvania that you are required to wear a mask outside and inside businesses. Im disgusted with the carelessness of the employees potentially spreading COVID-19. read more

They are slow and sloppy the staff is rude and lazy I asked for a drink that I saw in the back and I could see it with my two own eyes and says they are out they need a new staff don't recommend to come here any time soon read more

This is my cousins experience today in this cafe. This post broke my heart and lord knows what I would've done if I was there. I have already contacted their corporate office but I also wanted to get the msg out there. "Living in this country for 20 yrs. I would say I'm no stranger to discrimination, and I have taught myself to never take anything personal. Over the past years I have been called many different names. As a high school freshman student in 2001 I was called "Osama Bin Laden", on a bus with my children I was told "Go back to your country", In a stroll through the park I was called "Isis", so for me to say I have never experienced discrimination in this country would be a lie, but what I experienced today was a different form of discrimination. It wasn't verbal but the hate and disgust was all over their bodies, they didn't have to say anything. It all started today 07/25/17 @6:45 pm. Speedy's café in harrisvill Pennsylvania @speedway I have been travelling with my family on a road trip to Columbus Ohio, we decided to stop for gas @ speedway, when we were done pumping our gas we proceeded to go to one of their speedy café's. I took the children to the rest room, my mom and aunt decided to join me, as soon as we walked into the store the employees were giving us dirty looks. I stood in line to get coffee with no one calling me to come forward or asking to take my order, so I went to the the girl behind the register and ask where can I order, she points at one of the self screen registers and says "there" and rolls her eyes, I kindly proceed to the self register and put in my order, as I'm waiting my aunt and mom walk to the register to make other purchases, while they are being stared down. I look over at the girl preparing my order when another lady who I assume Was the manager walks over to her and begins whispering in her ear while looking at us. At this point I'm feeling really uncomfortable and angry, I wanted to walk out right that moment but since I already paid I decided to stick it out, once the girl finishes making my lattes she leaves it there and starts taking other orders and I'm standing there waiting, after a good 10 minutes she hands me my 2 hot lattes. Angry and furious I walk away with 2 orders of lattes only to find out they are wicked cold, I try going back in and have her changed but my mom kindly begs me to let it go, we dumped both lattes in the garbage, its very sad to see speedway not training their employees about diversity, inclusivity and the policies of discrimination in their workplace, I have never been this much disrespected and hurt at a place of business, this was very unfortunate experience.
