It's from Maryland and there are a few locations primarily in South Jersey. One of the "you must check out" recommenders also told me "you gotta get the fried chicken!!!" (yes, with multiple exclamation points). Apparently, it's known for made-to-order fried chicken. Fresh, real chicken, fried to perfection. (Real Fresh. Real Fast. Real Green.) I forgot my lunch one day and decided to venture out and see if it lives up to the hype. Indeed, it does! I compare it to memories of fried chicken from Roy Rogers and KFC at their height of fried chicken goodness. Legit finger-licking good. The sides are killer also. Here's what I ordered: - Chicken 4pc dark meal $8.99 - RF Dip Chesapeake $1.75 - Waffle add on - $0.49 - Side of SM mac and Cheese $2.69 Not sure if this is a COVID/post-COVID thing, but you order everything over self-service kiosk screens. The convenience market section of the store also has these self-service kiosks. So I placed my food over by the food preparation area and took my slip that had a scan code on it, then I picked up a few things from the market aisles, then paid for everything at the self-checkout. Super easy and intuitive, but there are people there if you need help. Another customer was being assisted by a RF employee when I was there and they were nice and very patient. This was my first RF experience and it was a good one. Recommended.

My favorite Wawa! This Wawa is one of the older Wawas, but has been updated to contain a bathroom…read more The staff has changed many times throughout the 18 years I've been going here, but they are always super nice, and are willing to accommodate special food orders. Although I liked it WAY more when Wawa did ACTUAL deli-like hoagies, with freshly sliced lunch meats and cheeses, some of their options are still not bad. Their pre-made breakfast sandwiches have stayed relatively the same throughout the years, and if you want something special made that isn't one of the pre-made options, just ask an employee begin the coffee counter, and they're usually more than happy to oblige. I love that they've added smoothies to their menu, although they use a pre-made, Minutemaid syrup-like base for a lot of the fruit ones, they're still delicious, and have the option of adding yogurt, or energy, immunity, or protein powders to them. You can also at the extra "powder-ups" to any of their frozen cappuccino-like drinks. The mint cookies and cream is new-er, and it's AMAZING! I also enjoy the cannoli dip, which can be found in the open "snack cooler" area, next to the checkout. Their surcharge free ATMs are also awesome, of which they have two. I am a PNC customer, so this is super convenient for me, and it's better than going across the street to the bank when I just need to take out cash. If you bank with someone other than PNC, there most likely will be surcharges on your banks end, but none additional to that, like most other ATMs. This Wawa is also kept pretty clean, which is big for me. I've been to many other Wawas in the area, where the coffee station is just destroyed, the milk shake blending machines (self-serve! They're awesome, too) are gross and smell, and the fountain soda area (ALSO self-serve!) is sticky and fly-ridden. This is not the case with this Wawa, and it is what keeps me coming back, aside from the fact that it is under a minute away from my house. All in all, I'm glad this veteran Wawa has still kept up with it's roots of being one of the most friendly and clean Wawas in the area. Whether you're stopping for cigarettes, a snack, or some lunch, this Wawa is consistently amazing, and provides great service from great employees.

I luv Wawa, and manager was very polite and willing to address the issue I complained about. I…read moredidn't get his name. The only reason I am giving two stars was because of him. I ordered 2 hoagies, one special order. Clerk making sandwiches fied an order so I asked if my number was next and it wasn't. So while I waited, I just so happen to see another worker come out ladies room, and come behind counter to begin working, DID NOT WASH HANDS!!! She immediately put on new gloves and started touching sandwiches I saw that were already made. They looked like what I ordered. I refuse to eat the sandwiches she touched. Very unsanitary. And I hate when fast food workers don't understand the importance of or are just completely lazy to wash hands before returning to work stations. Not sure if she washed hands in bathroom either, but she should've washed them at both locations. I went to register and asked to speak to manager, told him what happened, and requested a refund. He offered to remake sandwiches, and I agreed to that. When I walked back to wait, I saw the worker washing her hands. I was happy that he addressed the situation, and hoping the worker learned a lesson. I know more than likely it happens more often than I'll ever know, but because I saw it happen, I had to speak up. Situations like this is how germs spread and people get sick.(the nurse in me talking). Wawa, please try to get workers to wash hands before handling food. I forgot to look n see if they wear aprons or not. Another pet peeve is when restaurant workers go in restrooms or break with them on. Ughhh. Beware and watch out. Report if I find something unsanitary going on in a food establishment. Rant over...
