She cleaned and repaired them in about 15 minutes, and my mom could hear again almost immediately. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, pleasant, and genuinely helpful. The manager even went above and beyond by giving me phone numbers for medical transportation options since my mom is no longer driving. I apologize for not remembering everyone"s names Knowing this is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the community since 1967 makes the experience even more meaningful. We were so thankful for the prompt care, compassion, and professionalism shown to us when we truly needed it. I am incredibly appreciative and highly recommend them. The visit seemed more in depth than a freebie, but I clearly told the receptionist that, that's what I was there for. However, they billed my insurance than tried to bill me. After kindly telling them that a mistake had been made, they offered to give me a call to clear it up. I never received a call or apology. What was baffling is that they still proceeded to email me. Today, they emailed me happy birthday for my child, but next to my child's name it said "cannot come back, will not pay". They are sloppy and unprofessional.

We received the most caring and perceptive therapist, Christine Fontaine, to help our son with what seemed to be merely a speech articulation problem after some therapy at school, orthodontic devices, etc. However, after these treatments failed to resolve our son's speech articulation, We took him to Speech Wise and met Christina. She performed an evaluation and immediately informed us the results in great detail. She informed us right away that it was possible that our son might need a different type of therapy but it was going to take some trial and error to determine the root cause of his struggles. After every session, she would send a detailed email to both my ex-husband and I, who have 50/50 custody of our son, splitting the time he is with us on a weekly basis. This makes therapy and other treatments difficult, but with Christina's help and guidance, we were able to stay on top of his care. Once she discovered that he would need to have orofacial myofunctional therapy first before speech articulation would be effective, she communicated that to us quickly. While she was working to sort out the issues she was seeing, she even took it upon herself to get certified in this type of therapy! Christina Fontaine is an amazingly caring and talented speech pathologist and we'll forever be grateful to her treatment of our son. He even cried on his last session, saying how much he would miss her!!

Our daughter had regressed quite a bit when she was no longer eligible for speech services. Therefore, we now pay out-of-pocket for speech services and it has been worth every penny. Colleen is working to get our daughter back to her former level of communication and especially on her speaking clearly so others can understand her. We've seen steady progress, which is very encouraging. Colleen incorporates a unique method of whole body integration into the speech process that uses certain stretches, calming techniques, including body pressure points for calming the nervous system that my daughter can do on her own. She has homework in order to practice and benefit from these techniques at home, but the homework isn't so intense or time consuming that it becomes a burden. It really works! Colleen is well versed on the many issues that can affect speech; even sensory integration issues. Many speech pathologists we've come across don't fully understand and therefore don't use the sensory integration methods. Those particular movements are very beneficial in opening our daughter up to talking and they "get her going". Finding someone who is well versed in so many techniques has been a real find!
