TWC is the absolute WORST company EVER to deal with. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Customer Service Reps in the phone banks are in foreign countries who have thick accents that are hard to understand. They tell you one thing, and sometimes even give you a temporary fix. To get any help at all from customer service, expect to restate your problem and identification information no less than 3 times, to 3 different people who all put you on hold. It can take 2 to 4 hours a problem to get your issue resolved temporarily. Then you have to call back for the same problem as soon as the next day. I have called to cancel service twice. The representative from the Retention Dept promised that a supervisor would come out to resolve my issue, gave a date and time, and I waited. Then a reg tech, not a supervisor showed up with no workorder of my specific needs and problems. This idiot gave me a new and improved large key remote control, and left after telling me the problem was my TV. So I bought a new TV. Continued to have the same problems (streaming netflix). I called to cancel service again several days later and as before, promised that a supervisor would come out with a workorder of my specific issues. Again, this did not happen. A younger idiot, not a supervisor, did not resolve my issues. Instead, he did what he wanted to do, and left me having the same problems streaming netflix. This has happened to me twice in the last 8 days over Christmas 2014 alone. And I should mention, that due to my streaming problems I purchased Turbo Internet for a $10. rate increase a month to resolve the streaming problems. I am still having the same problems, but paying $10. more a month for them. Now they want to charge me a $30. installation fee for disconnecting and reconnecting my same modem. Hell will freeze before I pay this. The retention dept should not make promises to customers that the home technicians will not or cannot keep. Unfortunately, TWC is the only provider my Senior Housing Apt. complex can use. As as bad as TWC is, they are the only game in town, and they know it. I moved to OH from CA. I have been a Comcast Cable/Time Warner Cable customer for over 40 years. The prices for services go up and up while the quality of services falls down and down. TV and communication with my family and friends are my only source of entertainment. It's sad, but I am stuck with this awful arrangement. read more

Slow speed, techs who cant read addresses, overpriced, outdated equipment, never upgrade, been over 30 years since I seen any cable or fiber upgrades. Random disconnections because techs cant read addresses, will cost you way more money than a monthly payment for appointments because you lost wages waiting for them, customer service is a joke, they have no options for disabled (blind deaf mute) in service menu, constantly raise prices including for upgrades they never actually give you. My latest disconnected service, they were still in area when I contacted them, they literally were on the pole disconnecting my service for no reason but I had to wait 2 days to turn it back on. I paid monthly for 30 years all the way back to TW roadrunner first launched. Yet twice I was disconnected without any reason, just because, and spent im rounding down but over 24 or more hours each time on phone getting excuses each time. No reimbursement nothing, I had to purchase my own modem when they refuse to honor their own agreement of replacement at regular intervals. This company needs a civil action m lawsuit for a few billion dollars for the horrible lies and misleading advertising and down time directly caused by their own incompetence. read more

My boyfriend and I started a new service with spectrum last week and Jessica was very rude to us. Sighing, rolling her eyes, trying to give us the most expensive products without giving us the other options. Not explaining things to us when we asked question. Maybe she was having a bad day, at least that's what we thought. Unfortunately we have already cancelled our service and when I returned our supplies she was the one to help. She rolled her eyes as soon as I walked in the door and was very very disrespectful. She wouldn't answer any of my billing related questions and kept telling me "just sign the receipt" before telling me what I was signing. I asked 4 times before she said it was just for the equipment and not even bill related. I will never go back to this location if I'm in need of service again because of how we were treated. read more

Ironic how Spectrum has all of these commercials and ads talking about fast reliable internet when that is the opposite of what they provide. Home and business are terrible. The modems and routers provided are always cheap trash. They are constantly having connection or software issues. The internet itself is always down at random times or terrible at night. This company is not reliable despite what they say. As far as the stores go, they usually tend to be understaffed which causes a lot of issues with local consumer bases. read more

I don't blame the people at this office necessarily, but I have had so many technical problems the last 2 years and I'm finally sick of it. Every time you call an agent they all tell you different things. I've been lied to constantly to keep my plan active. I've randomly had services such as tv packages added to my plan without warning, I guess them hoping I wouldn't notice or fight it. You are a number to these people. They don't care about you as a customer. The helpline workers are trained to deceive you. Do not give them your money. read more

I cancelled my subscription before I received my billing statement and they still charged me even more than what I previously owed after I already returned everything as well. When talking with service representatives they would talk down and do nothing to help or explain. read more

Extremely unhappy with spectrum. Since last February my bill has gone up little by little. It's up 40$ a month. I call to see what I could do to lower my bill. I was told there was nothing they could do to lower it. Was told that my bill was going to actually go up even more next month and that it would eventually be 250$. I don't know who can afford 250$ a month for tv but I can't. I was told they only have decent deals for new customers. Whatever happened to something for loyalty. Guess they don't like to keep customers. Will be canceling my cable. If I could rate lower than a one star I would. If you go with spectrum I'd cancel after the year is up. Your bill will just go up and up until you can't afford it any longer. Stay away from this service provider if you can. read more

This company is the worst bunch of idiots. I can not tell you how many times I have ask them to stop sending offers in the mail. First they use my name , then my name or current resident. Really, you know I'm a customer because I drop all your services but one. The latest just preferred customer on the envelope. No spectrum I am not a preferred customer. I am a lost customer and you are about one more letter in the mail to my address before you are kicked completely out for ever. You sent me the preferred offer of 44.99 TV / internet for 12 months. Really, you lost us because you kept jacking the price up when Charter took over. You also kept telling me I was under old Specturm contract, although there was no contract as you kept trying to get me to change to Charter services. Not sure why you idiots can not get it through you head to stop sending me bull crap offers in the mail. You lost us forever for TV and phone. I'm not going to pay for a box fo each of my TVs . Slow internet speeds, they don't guarantee speeds less you rent their equipment yet still bogged down because not fiber optic ran to house but to a shared box and then coax... for cheaper price I now have 1g fiber optic straight to place at $10 dollars cheaper. Time Warner Cable can suck a bag of dicks!! I sent in my payment this month, but had inadvertantly bounced the check. Before they even had the check back, I went down to their office and paid in cash, and was told by the lying clerk that the check would be destroyed once they got it back. Well, they lied. They resubmitted the check. I can't stand the fact that they have a monopoly over cable and internet in this area. They know this and take advantage of it. read more
