I have worn glasses for the best part of 20 years. I went to Specsavers to get my eyes tested, it only took 10 - 15 minutes.
I returned after one week to collect my glasses, after waiting for 2 hours they gave me my glasses. I fitted them and immediately reported to them that they feel wrong and cause me incredible head aches. I was also unable to judge depth.
The lady who sold me the glasses told me that my prescription had changed and that my eyes will get used to the new Glasses. She insisted that I was wrong and that she was right!!
I didn't have it in me to argue with her and went directly to another eye care specialist who tested my eye sight again and also the lenses. My suspicions where proved right and Specsavers where wrong with their prescription.
I have been told that Specsavers often make minor adjustments to your prescription to get you to purchase a new pair of glasses.
I need not be the one to tell you that your vision is very important and you need to go somewhere that you can trust. I cannot in my right mind recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy!
I would rather stick hot needles in my eyes before ever going back to Specsavers EVER. read more
