Their receptionists always text a reminder on the day of your appointment, and remember who you are the second you walk in. It's great service, and that's what makes you pay a bit extra for things. They usually deliver on time and go out of their way to ensure you're happy. So if you're looking for all that in an optician, this is the place.

I was enquiring about a offer which was advertised in the store when the sales assistant (Karishma and Inah) began talking very rudely to my family. They began getting quite angry, refused to answer our questions and started shouting at us. They threatened us that they will call the security for no apparent reason as from our side we were talking calmly with proper manners. They also began telling us to get out of the store, I must say that with the kind of customer service provided I do not think I will return to the store. Your staff are not properly trained and have absolutely no respect for customers. As a sales assistant they should be able to answer their customers queries and fulfil their requests as that is what they are being paid to do. Sales assistants are representing your business and are required to provide customers with excellent service to ensure that customers return and so that these customers give good will to the business to their family and friends. I'm not that upset about the customer service I received in general however I am more upset of the fact that I received this service without any reason. The sales assistants at this store was very judgemental, rude and completely clueless. The sales assistant Karishma was especially rude as when I asked her for her name to make a complaint she then hid her name tag. I then asked the other sales assistant for her name she just ignored me and began to look up towards the ceiling. What did she find interesting up on the ceiling I still do not know. I actually thought that Strandbags was a well know store here in New Zealand but visiting their store now, the store is probably well known for its shitty customer service. I was here on holiday from Canada, good to see how New Zealand's stores and their people are.

The customer service is great- I've found the guys here to be really helpful when I've come in. And it's a relatively quiet branch so there's no waiting around in a line and they deal with you straight away. The last time I was here was to set up a new phone contract. It took me all of ten minutes to fill in my paperwork and set up my new number. The guy who served me (I wish I could remember your name!) was awesome and helped me pick out the contract that would be best for me. I had to wait a couple of hours for the contract to actually process so that I could use my phone, but they called me up as soon as it was ready to use. I was really happy with the service I got and all of the staff were friendly. Having been to other Vodafone branches over the years, the customer service has been especially average, so the Manurewa branch is a welcome change. If you live in the Manurewa/Manukau area, make a trip to this Vodafone branch. It's quiet, you'll get the level of service you want and all the information if given to you.

In this case I'm not sure if its a good thing that I've never experienced buyer's remorse after making a purchase here, as it explains why I keep coming back. There's something at JB Hi-Fi for everyone from games to computer programs to movies, and all at great retail prices too. Now and then they also have one-off sales where everything in-store is cost price + GST- so always good to keep your ears pinned for that one. It's not the biggest JB Hi-Fi branch but I know my way around. The staff here are quite reliable and the last time I went looking for an HDMI cable, the guy there told me about every single one they had, including the advantages and disadvantages. You don't get a lot of great service in retail these days so I take what I can get, and I was very impressed. Even the security at the store here always make a note to say hello and goodbye to all the customers- a little recognition goes a long way.

I can't remember his name, but flip, he is the best! They are always super helpful and have a great selection of DVDs. If I'm on the hunt for something in particular, they are the most likely store to stock it. (bar one time I was looking for Shutter Island - found it on Queen St) The only department in this store that I dislike is the electronics section. One guy tried to sell me an SD TV as an HD one. Fortunately, I was not the stupid woman he supposed, but a film maker who knows the difference. I smiled at him politely, and walked off. I hope he was just ignorant and not really a con man.
