At least as important as vanity the prescription is the best I've ever had and the consultation itself was informative - I actually have a good insight (excuse the pun) in to what's going on with my eyes. They were no means cheap but they fitted them just perfectly. Unfortunately I lost them in Austin Texas and didn't know whether I'd be able to get another pair. They ordered them back in and gave me a discount on the original price for me since I was basically buying them twice. I also ordered a pair of lenses for my old Ray Bans, they're so helpful and quick to respond to emails. Very chatty, know about your face shape and what suits, but don't do the hard sell. If you're looking for cheap then go to your average high street store but if you've saved a few bob it's a good investment.

The staff are really approachable and discuss all the lense options available and which lenses will work best for you. They also sell glasses and there are some nice designer ones. You can get a discount if you buy new prescription glasses alongside ordering contact lenses. I've had no problems whatsoever and will continue to use there services.

I received what I felt was poor customer service, particularly when I was presented with a completely different pair of frames to what I ordered with the (very rudely delivered) explanation that this was because my prescription could not be made in the size of the original frame. (And you tell me this now because? Not to mention that I checked this explanation out in relation to my script and it didn't hold water). Dissatisfied customer, lost business, that's about as complex as it gets.

Clothes are packed into rails in the centre of the shop, then round the outside are books, bric-a-brac, CDs, records and furniture. They've also got a separate room containing posters, paintings and prints. It's no good nipping in there for a quick 5 minute look - the size, layout and amount of stock means that it takes a while to browse through anything. This shop does seem to attract the dealers on the look out for that rare piece of china, plus some of the more valuable items are held in a glass case at the front of the store, so you're probably not going to unearth a rare find - but it's a great way to spend half an hour, and donate to charity too. It's also worth noting that they close on Mondays.
