For €10, I got a comprehensive eye exam and written prescription. I mean a *way* more comprehensive exam than I've routinely gotten in Canada or the US... and for a much higher price. I called the day before and made an appointment, and was taken to the upstairs eye clinic area and seen quite quickly when I arrived, only about 10 minutes' wait. The staff and technicians were all friendly and knowledgeable and efficient. I wasn't in town long enough to take advantage of the amazing deals they had on glasses and contacts, but would have done so if I'd had a few more days. My glasses broke on accident and when I arrived at the Cork Specsavers, Melisa C immediately assisted me in getting a new pair. She was so nice. She managed to find a spare pair of glasses in the back room and I was able to get my old frames put into a new pair. Trina, the manager, was so kind and understanding, too. Both were so kind and helpful, I just can't say enough nice things about their work. A great place to get glasses, and a great place for getting help fixing them. read more
