I had to use the home service as I have been housebound for 3 years. You have to pay for them to visit you at home. My first eye test was 16th April. The test was hurried and, as I found from the second test was about 10 minutes shy of what it was supposed to be and missed out a lot of what should have been done. It has been 77 days and I have paid for the home visit and two glasses frames but have received nothing. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL GET TREATED LIKE RUBBISH. read more

I love my local Specsavers. There range of glasses is great, and they have so many different offers. I recently bought two new pairs of glasses in the 2 for 1 deal. The member of staff who looked after me was amazing. I'm very picky when it comes to glasses, but she took the time out to make sure i was 110% happy, and not just push me into buying them. I was expecting to have to wait a few days before getting my glasses, but they said they had the frames and lenses in stock, so would get them ready and i could collect them within the hour. Yesterday I came into the store with a problem with my daughters glasses Kelly is special needs and loves to talk. We was greeted by a young lady called Chloe I explained the problem and chole immediately set to helping us find a new frame that would be more comfortable for Kelly. Chloe was fantastic she spoke to Kelly all the time explaining what she was doing not to me but to Kelly she didn't at one stage just talk to me and ignore Kelly. . After spending over an hour and a half up down up down in various seats and areas of this store when I went back to collect my glasses I couldn't even see with them! Many excuses made, no apology given and eventually only refunded the cost of the glasses, not the eye test even though it was blatantly wrong!! I wasted a total of two car park charges, the cost of the eye test and at least 3 hours of my time, all for nothing. Go to Tesco - free eye test and a much better service. read more
