They carry an extensive range of products that come from skilled and experienced designers in Italy. And this applies to ceiling lights, floor and table lamps, and wall lights for inside and out. One of the crazy light fixtures in particular immediately caught my eye. It basically looked like square tubes of different lengths falling from the ceiling, oozing smoky light. But to be honest, I don't think it would fit very well in my rather modest apartment. While it goes without saying that the Italian products are pricey, Mondo Luce also has another line of more affordable designs, created by artists in Scandinavia, Hong Kong, and the UK. Regardless of these models being made in China, they are still great quality and are aesthetically unique.

Sitting on Enmore Road (opposite Enmore Park), you'll recognise it by the jumble of antique furniture out the front and you can pull in to the store's carpark on the right. There are heaps of great knick-knacks and collectables, like malt tins, bottles, bird cages and artwork. Last time I was in there I saw an amazing kids' table and chair set in the shape of a cartoon-style red-and-white mushroom. It took serious willpower to walk away from that... From cushions to quilts to kitchenwares and frames, you'll be tempted to buy way more than you can fit in your house. If you're renovating, you've got an even better excuse to spend up big. There are always plenty of great doorknobs, light fittings and an eclectic mix of chairs. It's not all antique, though; you'll also spy some beautiful new products like candles and teacups. The owners have used every last inch of space so be prepared to do some digging!

I walked in, I was acknowledged with a smile and a nod. The proprietor was talking to another lady, which I actually don't think was a client. I wandered around to have a look...I never really got anything from her, I lingered for quite a while, enough time to let someone know you would actually like some help...I would have appreciated a "Please let me know if you have any questions" or "I'll be with you in a moment", you know, just simple courtesy. They were busy talking about where their Mosman properties were located and which private schools their kids went to. I walked out, and will never return.
